“When making an overnight stop, one would normally expect a reliable toilet, a comfortable bed and a functional TV. During two previous stays at La Quinta we were content enough to return. Unfortunately, most recently we found our toilet to be poorly installed and wobbly. We had to remake the bed to put the sheets on correctly. We then had to abandon our Netflix program because of frequent and prolonged buffering. Although the room itself was clean, the public hallways and stairwells were in……

“If you are visiting Kendrick Family Ballpark, this is the ideal place to stay. It is directly across the street. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. “Good location for WVU baseball games. That being said… Room was not clean. There was a contact lens In the sink. Washcloth was brown. Shampoo bottle was used. The halls absolutely reeked of marijuana. Wasn’t easy to get out of the hotel due to traffic.”

“Excellent suite!! Breakfast was just OK…not too fussy on receiving the protein (mini pork bits) in cream sauce. The sign said ‘pork sausages’ as part of the menu. This was a disappointment for this calibre of hotel line! ( were owners with MVC!)Minimal plates ( we arrived for breakfast at 8:45 and only small plates available??) available.”

“We chose this motel because their website states that the location is a 12 minute walk from the West Virginia University baseball stadium. That is a blatant LIE. You actually CANNOT walk safely to the stadium, and it takes at least 10 minutes (if there is no traffic) to drive there. Expedia needs to force this motel to change the information on their website or remove them from their suggested motels in Morgantown,”

“Front desk staff were friendly. Room was clean. They accommodated parking our tall car in an uncovered lot next door. Plus location was walkable for restaurants/beverages.”

“This hotel was okay. It was a golf club, and as you know, golf resorts are usually more expensive, but the price was affordable. At night, when we arrived, it was already very late, but I had called earlier to confirm if I could still check in, and they said yes. The person who helped us at 11 p.m. was very polite. However, the front desk assistant the next day was terrible — very rude, with an unfriendly expression, and constantly on her cellphone. When we asked if there was breakfast……
