We had a fantastic stay at the villa. It was everything we wanted.
The villa was beautiful. It was perfect for us, a family of 3. The bedrooms were lovely, the pool areas perfect and the view stunning. You definitely need a car and Bali has a lot to offer, just make sure you venture out and try all the local beaches and restaurants. We became regulars at Nostos. Amazing food, service and shisha. The main supermarket and petrol stations are 20 mins away and the drive is not for the faint hearted 😉 Valia was brilliant in the run up to organising everything including recommendations for local excursions, restaurants, car hire and taxis. The hotel staff (which is a 25 min walk from the villa up the mountain) were also brilliant and helpful and such a pleasure to deal with. We were very looked after and loved everything about the villa, especially the view and the quiet.

Great views. Fantastic outdoor space.
Had a really lovely holiday. Ioanna was very accommodating, even providing us with home cake and raki on arrival. Outdoor space was perfect and the pool great. Only downsides have been mentioned previously, low ceiling in master bedroom and no sink in the master en-suite but not a problem. Had lovely spa treatments at Fillion Resort Hotel and good value buffet for €12 per person. Probably didn’t make enough of the resort but useful to know it was there. Bali nice and close and some good options for eating as well as beaches, although crowded at times. Swimming good though and good water sports options.

Fantastic Villa in a great location to Bali Village
We hadn't visited Crete before, we had been to Greece, but had heard such wonderful things about the Island, the food, the people and the landscape. Everything we had heard became true. Villa Portokali is part of the Filion Suite Resort, situated a mile away from the resort in tranquil landscape with access to the resort via a minibus easily accessed if you call the hotel, car is recommended though if you want to explore. Its modern interior is refreshing however, the main bedroom upstairs has low ceilings so it could be a problem if you are very tall. We would of liked a sink in the wet room in the main bedroom upstairs as going into the bedroom downstairs to use the bathroom did become a little tiresome after several days and Im not sure having a glass bathroom upstairs toilet door is everyones cup of tea!! however, we complained about not having a few items on our first day, dish cloth and a frying pan and the owner of the villa came out and brought these items with a bottle of wine which was very sweet and much appreciated. We do think certain items in the villa needs work, even though its new it has teething problems, the downstairs shower didn't work and there was no area to put the shower on the wall which if you are tall is necessary plus having a second shower would of been useful with 2 teenagers. The Villa is marketed as 5 star, but at present we don't completely agree but could, the villa was only recently finished certain things needed to be done properly, toilet holders were loose on the wall, lampshades were falling apart, however, don't let this put you off as it is very comfortable and as its new I guess it just has teething problems. What was refreshing though is we had a cleaner that came daily, making beds etc making the villa very luxurious and we could walk to the lovely village of Bali if we wanted to which had amazing restaurants and bars. If you don't fancy walking to the village for dinner there is a lovely taverna half way down the road from the villa which made us feel very welcome and the food was great especially the Slovaki and Reki if you are brave!!!!! Would definitely recommend and we would like to re visit very soon.

Schönes Haus mit einigen Mängeln
Bei Ankunft nicht gereinigt. (Wurde dann alle 3 Tage gereinigt.) Im Resort war der Check-In schlecht organisiert. Schimmel im ganzen Haus an nahezu allen Wänden!!! Wasserkocher defekt. Oberes Bad ohne Waschbecken. Oberes Bad steht nach dem Duschen unter Wasser. Pool-Umwälzanlage absolut laut. Zu wenig Geschirr. Direkt gegenüber Schafe und Ziegen mit Geruch. Hausbetreuer sehr freundlich, kann aber an den Mängeln nichts ändern (Geschirr wurde nachgereicht).

Super vacances en familles
Nous avons passé une très belle semaine de vacances en famille en Crête en famille dans cette Villa. Très belle Villa, bien située (à 5 minutes en voiture du petit village de Bali) et personnel aux petits soins. Un grand merci au gérant de la Villa ainsi qu'à la réceptionniste qui ont tous deux été d’une très grande gentillesse et efficacité lors de nos demandes. Le nettoyage lors de notre arrivé laissait un peu à désirer mais ensuite durant la semaine, la femme de ménage est passé très régulièrement et tout était fait nickel. J’ai également pu tester plusieurs fois le fitness de l’hôtel (infrastructure dont nous avons également accès avec la Villa) et j'ai été agréablement surpris par la taille et les équipements. Conclusion: Je recommande cette Villa si vous souhaitez passer un agréable séjour au calme et proche de la mer (en voiture).

Die Betreuung durch den Roomservice war sehr Angenehm, sie umsorgte unseren Soh rührend. Der Manager war ebenfalls sehr zuvorkommend und hatt sich sehr um uns Bemüht. Die Villa bietet den Beschriebenen Komfort mit sämtlichen vorher erwähnten Vor und Nachteilen. Wir würden wieder gehen aber nächstes mal in die Villa Mandarini. Danke für die schöne Zeit.
