"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. "Very secluded location. Villa worked well for us as a party of 16 as it is laid out as 4 separate apartments. Villa owner very helpful and allowed us to set up a communal kitchen. During our stay the owner responded promptly to any request e.g. repair of basketball hoop for the kids! Plenty of supermarkets in nearby Perama. Good beaches within 20-30 minutes drive.
