What a view!

There are spectacular ocean views where you can watch sunrise from your bed. The kitchen is well equipped for meals. The deck is delightful for relaxing after a day at the beach. We used the very nice grill one night for a cookout. All six family members rated the property five stars. We look forward to returning next year.

Very nice!

This is our second year here, and we have enjoyed the quiet of the area, the beautiful view, and the convenience of the beach front home. We hope to be here again next year. Our young granddaughters love it!

Lovely Snowbird Stay

Clean and updated home oceanside with cozy living space, four BD/BA, and convenient location. Highlights are two large bedrooms with equally great big ocean views and a fully fenced grassy area for doggie. Very clean, small but well-stocked kitchen, and good general upkeep.

Perfect Beach House

We’ve stayed here twice while visit Myrtle Beach for our sons baseball spring training. We love this house! It’s perfect for our family. Great location in Surfside and right on the beach! We will continue to stay every trip back!

Great House

We spent a relaxing week with friends at this well appointed and ver clean house. Loved that we could bring our small dog and there was a fenced area for her. Sitting on the porch feels like you are right on the beach. Highly recommend!

Sweet Carolina is Sweet!

Second time staying at SC and it was picture perfect! We absolutely love this place, beautiful beach, wonderful little fenced yard for my fur babies and the house is just right !! Quiet beautiful neighborhood . They had every thing you needed. We will be back !

Nice Beach House

The house location was great. Steps away from the beach. Has a large living room and good size bedrooms with a full bath for each bedroom. The yard was perfect for our dog. My only complaint would be the large bulky furniture in the dining room, which made it hard to sit at the table to eat or play games without moving things around. This was our second time staying at the house. Would love to rebook for next year but unfortunately the price has almost doubled for the 2025 season, so will have to look at other properties for next year.

New Year's Eve at the beach

My family came together at Bella Alba to spend some time over the New Year holiday. The house was amazing!! It was nicely decorated, wonderful views of the ocean, comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped and many wonderful family meals were made there. I would definitely recommend this property to someone looking for a great beach house.

This house was perfect for us and our dog. The fenced in yard and the direct access to the beach with the gate was just what our pup needed. House was well maintained. Appreciated a housekeeper coming halfway thru our stay (owner paid). Great location - far enough away from hustle bustle but close enough to drive anywhere. We are definitely considering returning next year.

Everything was great. Thanks for a fenced yard for the dogs. Could be cleaned better as far as dust and floors. Don’t think they clean under couch or beds. Could use a swiffer instead of a broom to clean the sand on the floors.

This home is perfect for family,friends and pets!! This was my first time staying at sweet carolina and i will definitely be back! The view is breathtaking whether it's from the bedrooms,kitchen,dining room or porch. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs!! A couple steps and your toes are in the sand! The house was very clean and everything you can possibly need was at your fingertips!! Thank you so very much to the owner for opening up your home to make it our home for a week!! Myself, my family and our furbabies loved it!!!!

Sweet Carolina was perfect!

This house was absolutely perfect! We had 7 people and never felt crowded. Being right on the beach was wonderful! Beautiful beach views from kitchen, Living Room and two upstairs bedrooms. The entire house was clean, well kept, and the kitchen was stocked with basic supplies/equipment needed to cook and serve meals. There is a Food Lion and Wine & Spirits store a mile down the road.There are a few restaurants in walking distance. We walked to River City and Conch Cafe (both were great not a long wait). We took a quick Uber ride to Murrells Inlet for dinner too (Inlet Crab House and Fire to Table..both were delicious). The grill is older and uses charcoal but it worked perfect for our burgers/dogs on July 4th! We kept a cooler on the back deck stocked with water and drinks to stay cool on the beach! Can’t wait to go back to Sweet Carolina!

Perfection location! Perfect views-lots of windows! Direct access to beach-short walk to water for those with difficulty walking. Overall cleanliness only downfall-management company was responsive and helpful after initial complaint. Lots of decor needing to be moved to have room for our personal belongings. Kitchen on smaller side with little counter space. Beach crowded (prime time in July) had to stake our claim on the beach early am with chairs/umbrellas.

Nice and clean place. Beautiful views, easy walk to beach with direct access from deck. Nice small fenced yard for our dog. Large living room with almost panoramic views of the ocean. Nice master upstairs with great ocean views. One small bedroom on first floor and two other bedrooms upstairs. Kitchen is fine and functional, all we needed but a bit tight only if multiple people wanted to be preparing food at the same time, otherwise everything is fantastic. Nice parking with plenty of space. Close to 14th street near Melody lane so easy access to everything like Conch Cafe, Neal and Pam’s, the Farmers Market and the dog park. We went to Murrells Inlet/wicked Tuna, and N. Myrtle/Buoys on the Beach. We have rented many homes in SS beach and this one is a great house to rent. We would love to return to this property in the future.

Family get together

This is the second time our family has stayed at Sweet Carolina. What we like the best is the location to everything and the ocean right outside our door. The house is small but very comfortable. We had 6 adults staying there and we all had our own bedrooms and baths. TV’s I’m every room. One thing I have to comment are the stairs going to the back yard . They are in need of repair and a hindrance in taking them. I fell up the stairs and my sister in-law fell down them. Some boards are loose and the first step down is uneven.

Very nice place

Place is very nice and clean. Very convenient. Nice quiet area. But. 1 Day there were two young men here working on the property pounding and banging at 0830 in the morning. No information from owners that anyone was coming. Called about outdoor lighting not working until 2030 hrs which is fine for the summer months but it’s November. Two of the bedroom televisions were not working. Had call in for that as well and no response.

A much needed get away

The first day, I was greeted with pleasant conversation by our next door neighbor in the “A” house. Our house was wonderful and had everything we needed. This lady, and her awesome cats in the “A” house made our visit complete though. You never expect to rent a beach house and have such friendly neighbors. We could not have been happier. Our Maltese, Gucci loved the green area..(btw I left a flashlight and dog po bags for the next visitors) and this was one reason we rented this house. My only complaint…… if I would have to have one would be ….. Parking. It would have been nice to have a little wider driveway.

Perfect house in a perfect location!

We came down from up North in the winter months to avoid all the traffic and people and get away from the snow and cold! February is a perfect month to come to the ocean! But we were amazed at how many people do come to the beach in February. Our home was right on the beach, walk out your back door and there you are. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The house was equipped with everything we needed but a few things were missing in the kitchen and all we had to do was call and within 24 hours a lightbulb was fixed and a shower curtain was brought and we got some kitchen items like hot pads and a frying pan. They were very agreeable to getting us everything that we needed. We love walking on the beach morning and evenings. We were close to many nice restaurants also. Myrtle Beach is just 15 minutes away. Our party of 6 loved having our own baths and the 2 upstairs bedrooms have great views of the ocean. I would definitely recommend this home!!

One of the best vacations ever!

My family and I have been vacationing at least once a year for 30+ years in the Myrtle Beach area, usually once in the spring and for the past half dozen years or so, also during the week of Christmas. We have stayed at many locations, usually high-rise condos. We love the Surfside/Garden City area. It's much quieter than downtown Myrtle and everything we enjoy is close by. This home is in the perfect location, with just a short, easy walk to the Surfside Pier. Just ten minutes to Murrell's Inlet, the Seafood Capital of the World, and dozens of amazing restaurants. Really, it's about 10 minutes or less to anything you could possibly need: gas stations, grocery stores, a large, newer Walmart. Market Common is maybe 15 minutes, depending on traffic. The location is fabulous. The house, itself, is just as impressive. We like to travel with our dogs and having direct access to a small backyard and to the beach was heaven! There is a lovely deck on the back that directly overlooks the ocean. Great views from the kitchen and dining room, as well as the upstairs bedrooms. The home is tastefully furnished and all electronics, TV, internet, etc., worked great. The home was spotless when we arrived with freshly laundered towels laid out for us and bedding already made. We just unpacked, kicked back, and relaxed. Kitchen was equipped well enough to make a small traditional Christmas dinner. The main floor bedroom was great for my older mother so she didn't have to negotiate stairs, leaving the upstairs almost as a separate apartment for me and my husband. I just cannot say enough good things about this beautiful home. Everything is pretty much as pictured, or better. No unpleasant surprises. Special thanks to the owner for opening his home to us. And a double special thanks for allowing dogs. It's difficult to find quality properties that allow pets. I'm afraid staying here has spoiled us and we will definitely be returning. I just don't think we'll be able to match the quick, friendly service, the perfect location, or the lovely accommodations that we lucked into with Bella Alba! Book now! You won't be sorry.
