Spacious house and great location

Lots of space, including a laundry room, a downstairs living room, a large deck, and plenty of space in the fenced yard. Close to beaches, water sports and shopping areas. Really enjoyed the stay.

A Great Place For A Small Group

The house was clean and in a good location. We were only there for a quick fishing trip and were gone most of the time, but it was a nice place to come back to at the end of the day. There were five in our group and the kitchen area was a good place to hang out. Would recommend this place for a small group for sure. Thank you James for allowing us to stay at your place!

Perfect summer spot

Had a long weekend here with a group of friends. The house was clean and tidy. There was plenty of space for 8 adults and we had a great time. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the beach and the house has a wagon to use that makes everything easier. Would definitely stay here again. The host was very responsive and helpful. We had an issue with the coffee pot and they had a new one dropped of the same day for us.

Cute and Convenient

A group of 6 of us stayed here for the weekend during the OBX spring bike week. The location was extremely convenient to beaches, fishing piers, restaurants and entertainment, yet very quiet and safe. The property was well stocked with basically everything you needed for your stay. Be sure to check out the guest book (i couldn't find a pen to sign- probably the only thing i couldnt find) theres a ton of great area recommendations. I do wish the checkout was a little later than 10AM, but overall would definitely stay again!

Some issues

We stayed here for 5 nights in Oct. Although the location was excellent the cleanliness was questionable. It was advertised with a hot tub but the hot tub only had 2 speeds, low speed and medium speed. One side of the tub jets did not work at all. We were in a hot bath, not a hot tub. Plus it didn't maintain the temperature. It cooled down significantly in the course of an hour. The outdoor shower had a plastic cap in it and a bar of soap. Around the vents was fuzz and cobwebs and the intake vent was furry. We also had a live roach and 2 dead ones. And there were cheese wrappers on the floor downstairs. The hot tub was a disappointment because that was the main reason we picked this place. I contacted the contact person the day before we left and he told me I should have contacted him sooner so he could fix the problems we encountered. Although he might have been able to clean up the vents and outdoor shower, we would not have been able to unsee what we saw. In spite of theses deficiencies, we had a good time in Nags Head .
