We have been hosting guest on the Outer Banks for over 12 years. We know how to treat our guests and what they are looking for in a vacation rental.

    Wave Watcher has been updated from top to to bottom with all new flooring, new beds, linens, dishes, deck furniture and furnishings as well as fresh paint inside and out. One minute walk to the beach down a paved path. our family had a great stay. the beach is an easy walk our 3 and 5 year old grandkids did it daily with ease. the decks were a great place to sip coffee in the morning and to relax in the evening. We prepared many meals at the house plenty of dishes. it was great a quiet community and yet so close to all the things. we enjoyed a visit to the aquarium, Bodie light house, wright brothers museum and monument, and jockeys ridge. Millers on the water was the best meal of the week. We also drove go carts, played putt putt, visited many ice cream shops and candy stores. Bought souvenirs and found deals at outlets. over all a great trip and we hope to return.

Beautiful and clean home

This was probably one of the cleanest homes I’ve ever stayed at! The location was perfect for us and it was nice to be a short walk away from the beach. Nelene was great and was quick to respond. We would love to stay at this home again in the future.

Perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay! The home is so clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need- especially Tupperware! The outdoor shower is nicer than most indoor showers. The walk to the beach is so easy and short. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to come again.

Great family home

The house was beautiful and spotless and was supplied with everything we needed while away from home. The layout was perfect for us and our three children. The little touches of board games, beach toys, and other beach gear was super helpful. The walk to the beach was convenient and made beach days easy. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend!

This house was amazing. We could see and hear the ocean everyday from our deck. The beach was a very short walk from the house. It is in a quiet neighbor as well. We enjoyed our trip and would go back in the future!!

The home was as advertised. Found it odd that the guests had to make the beds when we arrived and strip the beds before we left in a rental for over $200 per night.

AWESOME TIME WITH FAMILY!!

We had a wonderful time at Wave Watcher. The home was perfect for our family of six and Nelene could not have been more helpful and responsive while we were there. It was a very short walk to the ocean and the views from the porch were gorgeous! We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful Stay!

Home was just as described in listing, and met our needs well for our trip. It is a very easy walk to the beach. We found the on site beach equipment very handy as we didn't have to pack beach chairs, boogie boards or toys for the kids. Communication with the owner was always prompt, helpful and kind.

Didn't want to leave!

This house is wonderful! The short walk to the beach and the quiet neighborhood make it a perfect location. The house itself is immaculate and cozy. All instructions are perfectly clear and communication is flawless. I really can't think of anything to improve here. If we visit the Outer Banks in the future, this will be the first place we look!

The Wave Watcher was everything we were looking for and so much more! We stayed for 3 weeks to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. The hosts were always responsive and very accommodating. We loved being so close to the beach, the views from the house are fabulous, even though there was beach replenishment going on for over a week directly down the street where we accessed. Not to worry though, we drove a few minutes down the road to Coquina Beach and were not disappointed! Having our sweet pup with us was wonderful. The miles of walking because of her was beneficial to us all. The neighborhood where the Wave Watcher is located is special! It is quiet, family friendly and yet close to everything. There are many permanent residents with whom we enjoyed chatting, hearing their stories of how they came to be in this lovely little spot. We gladly accepted their recommendations for places to go and good food to be had. We took full advantage of Austin's, O'neals and Whalebone for fresh caught seafood.We agree that the most spectacular feature of the Wave Watcher was the outdoor shower. We only showered inside a couple of times because it was very windy and a bit chilly. It has a huge dressing room which is separate from the huge adjoining shower.We would absolutely recommend the Wave Watcher and would also return again!Thanks you! Thank you! Thank you!

Wonderful

This was the best location ever. The house had all we needed to include linens, towels, kitchen items. We loved being able to walk to the beach and back to the house with our 8 month old. The outdoor shower was amazing and so useful. We had our dog as well but we had to be careful with the wild cactus on the property. Wish we could have stayed longer!
