I really recommand this place. I got quick replies on my answers beforehand. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Furthermore the place is just great as well. Big garden with a nice swimming pool. The restaurant served nice food.

Peaceful oasis in Karen district. Beautiful gardens, lovely tent. Great fixed price buffet supper and breakfast. Very good value for money. Some times of year school parties visit but they're out during day and catering staff still excellent despite the numbers.

I stayed in a basic one bed tent with shared bathroom and really enjoyed my stay at wildebeest which is very good value for money. The lodge is very safe and clean and a little way out of the city centre which is easily reachable by taxi. Galleria Mall is only 3km away with a good choice of restaurants and shops. The setting is very relaxing and tranquil and it is a good place to unwind before or after a safari or to avoid the hustle of the city centre. Staff are friendly and helpful. Evening buffet is very good value for money with good home cooked food. I will definitely stay here again when I next visit Nairobi and would recommend Wildebeest Eco Lodge to other travellers.

A unique and charming experience. The property was well-maintained, and the food was delicious!! The only negative aspect of our stay was that the mattress was very hard—a pillowtop cover on the mattress might help. Also, around midnight, there was a loud bang from the nearby road, and about 20 dogs started barking. This was disconcerting for feeling safe at night, as was the sound from the loud vehicles playing music most of the night. There's not much the property owners can do about being close to the bypass, but it's just something for guests to consider when booking where they want to stay on the property. The tents closer to the restaurant might be quieter.

Exciting Tented Camp in Nairobi!

We often stay at Wildebeest due to its friendly staff, fun rooms, and great location. Perfect spot to base yourself from when checking out Sheldrick’s and Giraffe Center and Nairobi National Park.

Would return with the family

A lovely place. It has a real focus on families and backpackers. The buffet dinner is secreted with everyone in the camp at the same time. You all sit down and eat together. This is nice because you get to meet new people, but limits your flexibility.

Always choose this accommodation now when visiting Kenya, rather than a hotel. Much more of an authentic African experience. My one & only suggestion - a kettle in the room to enable clients to make a cup of tea!

Hôtel dans la banlieue de Nairobi, éloigné de l’agitation de la capitale. J’ai utilisé Uber et bolt pour me déplacer sans aucun problème et pour pas cher. Superbe jardin avec plusieurs endroits où se poser et profiter. Très jolie petite piscine. Petit-déjeuner sympa inclus dans le prix. Les tentes sont très bien conçues et les lits sont très confortables. Les sanitaires sont très propres. Tout le personnel est agréable et efficace. Par contre l’hôtel se trouve pas loin d’un axe fréquenté (genre autoroute) donc prévoir des boules quies. Mais franchement c’est un tout petit inconvénient comparé à la qualité de cet établissement. Je recommande vivement.

This is a super clean, comfortable, beautifully landscaped camp with many amenities....like a pool! I wish I could have stayed longer. Unlike other camps in Kenya that are further from Nairobi, the sound of traffic can be heard especially at nighttime at the Wildebeest. However, its location is ideal for both the National Park and Sheldrick Elephant orphanage. Highly recommended.

Welcoming and Safe

The Wildebeest Eco Camp has become my go-to camp site in Nairobi. The staff is welcoming and kind. The grounds offer safety and relative seclusion from the bustle of other neighborhoods of Nairobi.
