The amenities on the top floor were above average and the house was neat and clean. However, the advertising of this property was obscure. The lack of air conditioning was the biggest issue. The three days we were at Nambucca Heads, the temp was in the high 30s and the humidity was oppressive. The house was hot, day and night. Contrary to the information booklet provided, there was no ocean sea breeze. The cut Mullet is a long way from the ocean. The heat was unbearable in the bottom unit. May I suggest the owners install new air conditioning on the first and second floor as a priority. Airconditioning in the ground floor unit is essential. The conditions on the ground floor were not good enough, considering the amount of money charged for this accommodation. The lack of air conditioning in the main bedroom on the top floor was ineffective. The hot conditions spoiled what should have been a special trip for us. On the bright side, the agent managing this accommodation was polite and helpful. After two days, a representative helped us to relocate a portable air conditioner from the top floor to the bottom floor which was helpful.
