"The front desk agents were super kind and helpful. They both spoke English. We needed that. Bountiful and delicious dinner and breakfast buffets were included. Our room was amazingly well appointed and large. The king bed was beyond adequate. It was two full sized beds bound together. We hope to return to this property some day."

"A lovely Japanese style accomodation. Refreshing to see that shoes are off limits at the property and they provide good lockers for the shoes. Private baths and onsens are available for a soak after a day out to explore. Breakfast is good too though the timings of breakfast are a tad early but best way to start the day ! :)"

"Position is convenient for train and restaurants. Onsen area was fabulous alternating temperature between the 2 pools each day. All the personal care items you need. "Our family of 5 had an enjoyable stay in a large Japanese style room. Great location for the ropeway and gear hire available too so very convenient. Nice to have the communal kitchen and dining areas as we got to meet some other guests. The ping pong table got a lot of use too. They lend toboggans for free, which is heaps of fun for the kids and the owners kindly didn't charge us when we accidentally broke one! (Even though we offered). Traditional onsen is worth a visit and in walking distance, just note the etiquette before you go as it's not focused on tourists. No supermarket nearby so stock up beforehand eg the train station. Highly recommended."
