"Convenient"

Comfort Inn West Hazleton

"We had an okay stay at the Comfort Inn West Hazleton while on a golf trip and stayed for two nights. The room itself was nice, and the shower pressure was excellent—one of the best parts of our stay. The wings in the restaurant were delicious, and the complimentary breakfast was good each morning. The front desk staff were also very friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The biggest downside was that both our room and the hallway carpets had a noticeable dog odor. We also heard dogs barking frequently during our stay, which was somewhat disruptive. Overall, the hotel had several positives, especially the staff, food, and comfortable room, but the pet-related odors and noise kept the experience from being better."

"We have stayed at this hotel a few times and really don’t have any complaints except the bathroom could have been a little cleaner. The counter didn’t look like it was wiped from the last time someone stayed there otherwise the rest of the room was fine. The breakfast was ok and had a nice variety of choices. "

"We stayed for the weekend. Had an easy check-in. We had one comfortable king bed, large clean room, nice bathroom. On Saturday we walked around Scranton for a total of 7 miles, so the hot tub was a welcomed amenity. The staff was very polite and professional. Morning continental breakfast was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back to Sparks by Hilton!"

"Just an all around mess, from sloppy front desk attendants, to a lobby bathroom that smelled like urine, room bathroom had the start of mold in the shower, barely any towels, hallways hadn't been vacuumed in months, room numbers laying in the hallway. Hope new management can do better."
