Beautiful farmhouse

We arrived in the evening. What a sight we had to welcome us! The beautiful pool was all lit up and the flowers around the pool looked stunning. The next morning we were all gobsmacked at how beautiful everything was. The photos do not do the property justice. The house is huge plenty of room for us 10. The location is beautiful, with lots of lovely walks for the dogs. Miriam is the loveliest lady too, she couldn’t do enough for us.

Nice big house for family stay

The house is very well equiped. The rooms are large and comfortable. There is enough room for all activities and it is a quiet nabourhood. Especially we enjoyed using the pool. From Pradines you can easily visit many fantastic places: Carcasonne, Narbonne, Béziers, the coast, Canal du Midi, Abbaye De Fondfroide and the region of the Cathars with the famous ruines of Peyrepertuse. After a trip it is nice coming home and have your meal on the terrace!

Fantastic property for a group

Lovely sized property with a great amount of amenities. There was a group of 9 friends and we all had a incredible time here. Pool was great, place was clean and tidy when we arrived. Really decent number of games available etc. The neighbour was absolutely amazing. Its very remote, so youll need a car or be prepared to spend a lot on taxis to get anywhere but personally our group had both. The biggest issue (which unsure what the host can do, and they did warn us in the comms before) was the unbelievable amount of wasps at the pool, probably not ideal for young kids but they seemed to stay away when we were all in the pool.

Excelent séjour en famille. Grande maison au calme avec une super piscine très appréciable pour le climat très chaud. Plusieurs coins ombre ou soleil dans le jardin.

Belle villa qui nécessiterait quelques améliorations

Vacances sympathiques entre amis, taille de la maison idéale pour 12 personnes maximum (+ 2 bébés en lit parapluie). Piscine adéquate pour le groupe mais pas sécurisée (comme annoncé dans descriptif ) et il faudrait que l'équipe d'entretien de la piscine passe 2 fois effectuer un vrai nettoyage de la piscine et terrasse. Équipements électro-ménagers à changer car pas optimals(frigo, lave-vaisselle). Il faudrait aussi revoir l'éclairage de l'extérieur car insuffisant. Et éventuellement prévoir un allée de boules. Bien apprécié le baby foot, la table de ping-pong, les vélos...Bien dans l'ensemble avec belle vue sur les vignes...

Family holiday

My family described it as ‘the real deal’. A picturesque farmhouse in a beautiful area with enough facilities to make it a really relaxing holiday. The pool was excellent. Travelling distances to some places were a little ambitious in the timing described, but no problem. We all had a wonderful time.

A little piece of paradise

The farmhouse is stunning , perfectly layed out , spacious, awesome location for us with short trips to the coast , a perfect base to explore this beautiful country, loved every second of the stay and the big pool was a blessing during the heatwave , it topped 45degrees c Friday June 28th!! It gets hot here 👍

Lovely house in the countryside

We had a great couple of weeks in this spacious farmhouse. Surrounded by vineyards, it is very peaceful, but only a short cycle ride to the local village for supplies. We opted for a very relaxing break and spent nearly every day by the pool which was the perfect size for our 2 families. The house was cool and spacious with a great mezzanine level for the kids. Would recommend!

A great traditional family home

This is a delightful secluded property but only a few minutes drive away from the nearest small village with shops and cafe. The thick walls make it cool even in very warm weather (we were there at the beginning of September) and the pool is a great place to sit around during the day. We went on some day trips to beaches and towns (Carcassonne in particular) and walks in the hills around the property. Highly recommended.

Maison sympa mais rapport qualité-prix limite

Grande maison, belle région avec des vignes, piscine très sympa. Quelques bémols : la maison ne possède que 4 chambres. Les 4 lits simples sont sur une mezzanine donc on ne peut pas les isoler de la lumière ni du bruit. Le mobilier est parfois un peu vétuste et mériterait d'être renouvelé. La partie gauche de la maison sur la photo n'est en fait pas accessible aux locataires. Quelques tensions avec la voisine à cause de la piscine (sous ses fenêtres). Prix de la location trop élevé par rapport à l'offre.

Great property in a great location

Had a really good 2 wks here. Good size villa, plenty of space. Area is secluded and peaceful with hills and vinyards all round. Plenty of places to visit including carcassonne and the castles in the pyrenees. We ummed and arred over whether to heat the pool but decided against it. The new solar cover definitely made a difference and lifted the temperature just enough. We were serenaded by the frogs at night and wowed by the eagles flying overhead in the day. All in all a good holiday.

Country Delight

We really enjoyed our stay at Pradines. We were surrounded by vineyards and quiet. Only 20 minutes from Narbonne. Was so accessible to touring the area. The pool was a definite plus. Chris and Claudine are great to deal with.

Great house in beautiful location

Found this to be a fantastic property for our large group. Pool is good size and was kept clean. House is in a great rural / rustic location within 30 - 45mins of lots of great places of interest and lovely beaches. Not surrounded by tourists so it felt like the real France. Owners were very helpful.

Sehr schönes Bauernhaus umgeben von Weinfeldern.

Wir haben das Haus mit 2 Familien genutzt, war genügend Platz. Das Haus ist gut gelegen um die Umgebung zu erkunden (Perpignan, Carcasonne, Narbonne etc.). Wir haben die Ruhe, den Pool und das Anwesen sehr genossen. Es war ein schöner Urlaub.

Lovely house in a beautiful setting

From the moment my family and I saw this lovely house we knew we would have a happy week's holiday. We all loved it there, the pool especially was enjoyed by everyone and the house itself was just perfect for the nine of us. The area is stunning, absolutely beautiful; there are plenty of walks to enjoy, with vineyards in abundance. Narbonne and other places are easy to get to if you want to venture further. The house is spacious, very clean and has everything you need; the owners are very friendly and were always contactable. It was a truly lovely holiday.

A fantastic holiday location

We have just spent a week at Pradines and we had a great holiday. The property is outstanding and the location is superb. You can shut the gate and just sit and watch the world go by in a tranquil unspoilt part of the world, or take a short car journey to Narbonne or Narbonne Plage for something a bit livelier. A great feature in the property is the bedrooms located on different levels, so if there is a large group (we had 11) you can split up and have your own space. Especially in the self contained room on the gound floor. So I can whole heartedly reccomend Pradines.
