"We had to make a last minute change to this property from one we had in San Gimignano, and we are delighted that it worked out that way. The property is super relaxing and the staff made our stay memorable. "Chiara, the receptionist was outstanding, helpful , with any request . There was a problem with the fridge in the room. Upon notifying her, she immediately offered other rooms . Hotel is slightly out of the way , but practically minutes away from center . The continental breakfast was nice. Service was great ."

"It was very inconvenient to get to the hotel because cars couldn’t get there being very narrow with the road. Reception was excellent, the room was very spacious. The shower was weak. The worst was the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The hard boiled eggs were cold, taken out of the freezer and 2-3 days old where the yolks were very dark green. Yuck. All the pastries and pound cakes were not fresh and hard. Nothing is fresh and they charge you for the juices. Bad experience. Other than that my room was very good with a kitchen."

"INCREDIBLE! This was our favorite place in Italy, it was like living in a fairy tale. Beautiful view, wonderful restaurant, accommodations and service were above and beyond. Concierge went out of his way to be kind and make great recommendations for attractions in the area. He is the heart of the place and the family said talking with him was one of the highlights of the trip! The property was well thought out and immaculately maintained. If I had to give constructive feedback I would recommend changing out the shower head to an angled one that fit the scale of the shower better. "
