A few pros: The staff are welcoming but some of the youngsters are a bit loony. The overall appearance and architecture is to die for; the hardwood floors and classis Titanic era style captivates your longing to lounge around all day in the foyer.

The person who Checked me in at Montell (Pls forgive me if that is wrong) gave me room 828, which was my birthday, offered me a drink at the bar for my birthday, and gave me a gift card to FOGO for my birthday Dinner! He was amazing. I was able to walk to restaurants. There was a live band in the lobby on Friday night (AWESOME). I'm looking to book again when I come back to Dallas for New Year's!”

I had booked a room and breakfast online, and it took a long time for the entrance staff to verify my reservation before guiding me to my seat at breakfast, which was quite embarrassing. The Black security guard at the hotel entrance was very kind and helpful, assisting me in finding an Uber that had gone to the wrong location."
