"We had a very relaxing family holiday here. There were hardly any other guests when we stayed, and it was almost like having a private resort.The restaurant staff made us two lovely dinners and breakfasts, the first dinner was an intricate kaiseki spread, and the second was delicious grilled steak. Breakfast had plenty of options for both Japanese and Western style meals. "9月下旬に1泊2日で利用しました。室内の設備・環境はとても良く、快適に過ごすことができました。（エアコン等は使用していないので、空調の効き具合はわかりませんでした。） BBQをするにあたっては、網・炭・鉄板などは持参する必要があります。また、今回は雨が降っていたのですが、バルコニーは屋根がなく、パラソルも1つしかないうえに破損していたため、室内にあったホットプレートに切替えました。別荘までの道は夜は街灯もなさそうだったので、夕方くらいまでに到着されたほうが良いと思います。チェックインまで・チェックイン時のやり取りもスムーズでしたし、滞在中に災害情報（台風がきていたので）もご連絡いただき、大変ありがたかったです。"

"Room little dated but extremely spacious, and very clean. Only comment is lack of USB port. Buffet was adequate but missing the ‘wow’ factor. Property was little far from train station, I think it would be much convenient if the shuttle will bring guess back to hotel instead of just one way to the train station."

"This was my 3rd time staying here, great location a few min walk from the train and bus terminal, warm comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff, it's a shame they changed the breakfast service, the curry and rice were excellent before... I'd definitely recommend eating at yuba komachi while in Nikko, delicious chicken cutlet curry, very good price and lovely staff, 2 min walk from the hotel "

"Although the hotel building and its facilities are a little bit old, the room is very clean and hotel staff are very friendly. It takes about 15 minutes’ walk from New Shirakawa (Shin Shirakawa) Train Station, or you can catch a taxi at about 1000 Yen. There are several restaurants located within five minutes’ walking distance, however, it is relatively far from downtown Shirakawa and Komine Castle."
