「It was a roomy space, with several comfortable beds and a nice kitchen and living room. The northernmost bedroom has an excellent view of the temple. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious, reasonably priced food prepared and presented by friendly staff. The stairwell is steep and is the only access to the space. It is also a musty stairwell, but the rooms were comfortable and clean. 」

「This was hands down our family's favorite stay of our trip (5 or 6 different places). Plenty of sleeping space for the 6 (2 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids). Kitchen was nice, though we didn't use it for much. Air conditioning worked great and main bed was nice. Couch beds were nice enough for the kids to not complain. Location was great for visiting nauvoo and being closer to groceries and such in Keokuk. Really nice stay overall!」

「Was absolutely perfect for what we needed for the night! Although the outside was pretty inaccessible due to tons of huge spiders and webs and it didn’t look like it is kept up with, the inside was clean and roomy and had every need we could have needed! The ac units were molded (like black mold) they did blow cold air that helped us as we slept!Overall I’d recommend this for people who like the camping vibe def! But I could def see potential for a more glamping vibe! Rebecca was kind and fast...

「We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Nauvoo. The historic and quaint Mix House added some period charm to our stay. While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe.」
