「Room was excellent and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was prepared on the spot. The staff was gracious and friendly. Bent over backwards for us. A step into the past. 」

「The food was wonderful and very fresh! The beds were very comfortable! Each room is thermostatically controlled and has its own charm. The floors and stairs are creaky but adds to the charm of an old home. Laurie is such a great host! We enjoyed her company very much! She made our stay so nice! We would definitely stay there again!」

「We loved it here. Perfect location. It was an updated bathroom attached to our room. Breakfast was everything you want. Confusing a bit on checking in but otherwise great. I did think I was getting a view of the temple but I got the wall of the next building which was disappointing.」

「Nauvoo Villas have been well maintained and had everything that we needed for our recent family vacation to Nauvoo. It was a quick 5 minute drive from downtown.」

「Nice and clean, I felt very secure knowing I have to use a badge just to get in the building. The continental breakfast was great! Ice machines available nearby. Even though the casino is connected limited hours even though I was told that it was recently purchased. As far as the casino I didn't sit and gamble. Even though I'm a former smoker there is a sign stating no cigar or pipe tobacco but I did see 4 people smoking cigarettes」

「The room was clean. It had been recently refreshed with new decor. Either the nextdoor guest or previous guest had smoked in the bathroom. The owner was very helpful in trying to clear out the smell. For the price I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and nice it was. It looks to be family owned and they are going through and remodeling/refreshing each room. Air conditioning was fabulous. Beds are comfy and linens were fresh and clean.」

「When we arrived it was about 10:30 at night our first room smelled so bad we couldn't stay in it we asked if there was another room which the staff was very helpful with and got us another room. Unfortunately the second room the AC barely worked and went kicked on it was incredibly loud. Most likely the AC wasn't able to keep up so the whole room smelled damp as well. We would have gone somewhere else had there been any other options. The hot tub is also boarded over just as an FYI.」

「Room smelled like dog, had no idea that the hotel was all “pet friendly”- $200 a night was pretty unreasonable for this hotel/location. The dogs were barking in the evening and I thought that having to pay for bottled water was ridiculous. There should be water available for guests that is filtered to fill up bottles- what a disappointment!」

「We stayed at Cobblestone Inn at the recommendation of Harvestville Farm (we were attending a farm to table event). A no-frills type of hotel, it provided us exactly what we needed: a convenient, comfy and extremely clean place to stay. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. We will definitely stay again the next time we attend another event at the Farm.」

「Upon entering my room, there was a mildew locker room odor and I went back to the lobby to ask for a new room and the staff was very flexible and accommodating to put me in a new room which smelled much cleaner.」
