The property is situated in a peaceful, rural environment that is a short walk to the beach and still relatively close to neapolis, a bigger town. "This place is amazing! We got to use two different places and they were both amazing! One was on the ground floor and the other second floor. Amazing view from both! This place is close to two markets, two beaches and an easy walk to town. We walked to “the rock” twice, there is a bus that takes you up the road but it is safe and walkable too. "This property is really special. It is spacious and beautiful and just has a certain quality about it. That makes you feel like a queen. The owner‘s mom lives down the hill and, although she doesn’t speak a lot of English, she was thorough in welcoming us and Showing us how to use the kitchen, etc. She had a crisper drawer full of fresh oranges and lemons and an electric orange juice maker. "The hotel room was very clean with tea and coffee making TV balcony overlooking the sea and en suite. The receptionist was èxrremely helpful. There is plenty of street parking and ifs only 50 yds to the veach or the shuttle bus to Monemvasia island. There are lots of dhops and restaurants very close by includihg the Aktion under the same ownership abd serving very good dinners of traditional Greek food. Breafast is 10 euro pp. and is taken in the cafe attached to the hotel. It is buffet style with a tremendous choice."

"One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The hotel staff was super welcome and very attentive. The hotel is basically a farm that offer free experiences like bread-making and candle-making. We also booked a private beekeeper experience which was the highlight of our trip which was followed by honey tasting with the local beekeeper Mr Kostas who shared his knowledge and love for the bees. The breakfast was excellent and worth visiting as a standalone offering as well. Thank you so much!"

"The Kythea Resort was a wonderful hotel to stay at and the hotel staff made this especially true. The room was clean and a minor issue we had with the flush tank was resolved quickly. A special thank-you to Dimitra for this! The property overall is well maintained and located away from the busy parts of the town allowing for privacy and good views. The breakfast was scrumptious and the staff proactively ensured all guests had a good experience. Anna in particular suggested several places to visit and recommended a quaint restaurant named "Taverna Platanos", in Milopotamos, which is worth a visit. Athena who was at the reception desk in the mornings was also really helpful and recommended we visit the Karavas bakery, a definite must-do when you're in Kithira! Due to its location, the hotel was a good base for excursions to the northern parts of the island. With a car, visiting all parts of the island, including southern areas like Chora and Avlemonas is an option. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Kithira!"
