Neavitt cottage.
Very clean, well decorated and well provisioned cottage in a nice neighborhood. Limited view of bay. Access to waterside not as described. (Optional to post, mainly fyi to VRBO.)Did have issue with internet as password handwritten and not clear. Hosts never responded until after our stay was over so no internet. Also, black mold starting in bathroom behind door in queen bedroom. We did advise hosts once we heard from them.

Quick summer pre baby trip!
Lovely trip to hold my son and daughter-in-law hostage for a few days before the birth of our new grand baby. The house was everything I expected and more. Floor plan worked great for two couples. Bright cheery decor and was equipped with everything we needed. Espresso machine was an extra perk!! Pardon the pun. Neighborhood setting great for walks and bike riding. Enjoyed the near by pier for crabby and kayaking. Museum, towns and restaurants were great.

Quiet Retreat
The Neavitt cottage was very clean and comfortable, with a fully stocked kitchen. We were easily able to cook meals or make the short drive into St.Michaels to dine out. Mindy is extremely organized and had plenty of brochures that offered suggestions for beautiful day trips. Our dog was right at home and we all wished we could stay another week. Certainly, a beautiful corner of Maryland. We will return.

Extremely pleased with our recent stay! Especially impressed with the tastefully simple, yet utterly comfortable furnishings. We guess that our host has traveled extensively, and that comes through. Love that kitchen "essentials": spices, a lovely olive oil, and a wonderfully seasoned cast iron skillet were all at hand! Indeed, we so enjoyed our too short stay at this wonderful pet friendly abode!

July 4th Vacation at Neavitt
This is a beautiful house in a very quiet and friendly community. The house has a fenced backyard and is right next to the community center of Neavitt providing easy access to a nice park with a basketball court and a post office. We spent hours relaxing in the front porch looking at the creek across the street. If you want to relax, this is the house for you!

Blue Bird Cottage was incredibly comfortable. The inside of the home was extremely clean. There were ample pillows, and an extra blanket. The kitchen had basic supplies like spices, sauces, pasta, coffee and hot tea. We spent 2 nights b/c it was originally planned to be a stopping point b/t DC and Connecticut. Wish we had stayed longer. We felt so relaxed and having the playground right next door was a huge bonus for our daughter. It's equipped for ages 5-12. A few things need to be repaired but did not impede our trip. We also didn't report them b/c again, it wasn't imperative for our enjoyment. There are 4 solar lights on the front steps and 4 at the parking spot on the right. 3/4 on the front steps worked. None of the 4 by the parking spot worked. The front porch and ceiling need to be pressure washed. The master shower, on the left, dripped all night and we had to close the door. We are already discussing returning next year when we have more time and when we can more freely enjoy St. Michael's without fear of Covid-19.

Lovely little cottage in the quaint town of Neavitt. Near St Michaels, Tilghman, and Claiborne. Limited cell-service but strong wi-fi. The park is out the backyard and ideal for children or those with pets.

Birthday Celebrations
We rented this property for a girls weekend of birthday celebrations and it was perfect! The cottage was located in a very quiet neighborhood with a view of the water across the street. My only concern was driving the main road from St. Michaels at night.... there were a lot of deer that crossed in front of us so be careful driving! Great stay!
