Pan selection was a bit limited (can’t bring your own due to having an invection stovetop) and only plastic wine glasses available (makes sense for when down by water), so if you’re a wine snob, bring your own glassware. ”

“This is our second time staying at the Nash Cabin and both times have been perfect for our family. The size of the house is roomy for everyone to spread out and lounge with comfy furniture and a large dining room. The play structure in the backyard was perfect for kids. Beds and comfy, bathrooms are spacious and the kitchen is also perfect for any size meal.The host is communicative and responsive. There was a snow storm in the middle of our stay and their plow service ensured we could get in……

“Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. The front seems pretty hemmed in by the neighbors but the back of the property opens up to the woods. We got to see a bear and her two cubs roll past one evening which was exciting for the kids. At the time of our visit, there was some construction next door but I can't fault the property for that. The downstairs……
