Sand and sea at Dutchie Beach

Clean, spacious, quiet with view. 15 min walk to Nelson Bay Marina, restaurants and shops and a few minutes to Dutchies beach. Just one thing that was missing was an outside umbrella for shade as gets very sunny on the balcony.

Perfect location

We couldn't have picked a better location. Lovely outlook with an easy walk to Dutchman's Beach and Nelson Bay. The house was amazing - light, airy and well appointed - everything we needed was there. We would definitely stay here again.

The service provided was very professional and getting the key was trouble free. The only thing that i think is worth mentioning is that the property has a lot of stairs and also a lot of stairs to the beach. Overall though, fabulous.

All in all was very nice and relaxing

Everything was good other then a giant rat that we had to chase and block off the hole it went into. Behind the dishwasher, which we had found there to be a rat trap already.

Birthday Retreat

We celebrated my mum’s 60th and father in law’s 68th birthdays over 6 days at the property. Good communication with the property manager - responsive and flexible! Location was good - amazing views but the beach access was a bit difficult for the older family members to walk down to. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable stay. Thanks for the hospitality! J

Lovely view

Circumstances meant only two of us stayed in the property, so more space than we needed. Lovely view despite the incessant rain and the house provided all we needed. TV remotes need some attention (Main bedroom in particular), minor first world problem!!! 🤣

Reviewer Comments: The property was well presented and fit for purpose.Neat and tidy with simple and usefully furnished with a good level of short term rental needs.The only potential improbpvement would be to have air conditioning in the upper level which gets hot during the afternoon. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms are excellent. We might upgrade our own at home to this particular fan.The initial access code to get the keys was incorrect. Thankfully we arrives during business hours and with contacting the Agent the correct code solved the problem.

It is a perfect spot to go as a family, the house is spacious and has all the amenities you may need. The location is fantastic and just a walk to the beach. We got lucky enough to even see dolphins from the balcony view. It is defs a spot id go back to and recommend to friends. My only critiques for improvement is the deposit process was a bit up and down and it took quite some time to get our money back. Additionally, the kitchen could do with some new knives :) Overall, nothing major.

Mothers Day stay

The weather was perfect for sitting on the balcony looking out at the water view watching the sun go down. Plenty of space & beautifully furnished the house was actually warm at night & so quiet. Easy to find & access although the steps leading up to the house were a bit awkward with all our bags. Our 84yr mum had no issues with internal stairs but was not able to manage the stairs leading down to the beach.We dined at Nelson Bay Golf Club - great food & great service - and enjoyed a lovely long lunch at Little Beach Boathouse restaurant - worth every penny & highly recommend for the food & the staff.Dutchies Sand & Sea Beachhouse would easily house 3 couples but wouldn’t suit anyone with a disability.Overall it’s was a fabulous place to stay.

Amazing property
