We have stayed here before. This is our fav hotel when we visit Nelson. The location is great for walking around downtown or attending an event at the arena. There are lots of dining options near by and the co-op grocery store is a block away.

The location is perfect. The attached coffee shop was great. For the price that we paid, it definitely felt like it was lacking in a few amenities. The fridge was shared with the whole floor which, in today's standards, shouldn't be a thing anymore. It had a little bit of an "very upscale hostel" vibe to it. There is no elevator too. Another thing, which is a total lack of preparation from my part, is that I didn't realize all rooms were pet-friendly. Being used to hotels having dedicated rooms that are pet-friendly, I didn't think to inquire prior to booking about this. I am highly allergic to dog and cat dander but it was too late to cancel by the time I found out. I had to take medication and was still having trouble breathing and such. Again, this is my own fault and should've inquired beforehand but won't stay again because of this.

Always a pleasure to stay at this place! they absolutely love dogs which is awesome and if you are visiting Nelson is so close to main st so very walkable to all shops and restaurants.
