"This is the most interesting and unique stay my family has had. What atmosphere! We were welcomed with cake and tea and Christa was a wonderful host. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. "Als wir 4 Seniorinnen und Senioren eintrafen, war es in den Schlafzimmern und (3!) Bädern brrrr sehr kalt. Der Besitzer/Verwalter (?) hatte im Wohnraum/der Küche schon den wunderbaren Holzofen angemacht, das Holz brannte gemütlich. So konnte man gut am 6er-Tisch sitzen. Alles auch zum Kochen erforderliche war da. Auch einige nichtalkoholische Getränke, im Kühlschrank auch Bier. Etwas abenteuerlich über schmale steile Treppe zu erreichende Schlafräume oben. Wer dort war, hat i.a. gut geschlafen....

"Gebucht hatten wir für die Schwiegereltern. Wir waren am Bodensee für eine Hochzeit eingeladen und wollten den Aufenthalt um den Termin herum verlängern. Wir wurden, mit unseren beiden Hunden, sehr freundlich empfangen und hatten einen sehr angenehmen und ruhigen Aufenthalt an einem verträumten Fleckchen Erde, welches sich trotzdem perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für allerlei Ausflüge anbietet."

"5 stars for their reception staff although for the most part reception was only manned by one person so during busy times there was a long wait. Housekeeping let hotel down. Day 1 no housekeeping due to illness. Had to go to reception for clean towels etc. Compensated with a free drink which was good. Day 2, we were given hand towels instead of bath towels and full bin wasn’t emptied. Day 3, no bath mat left and empty tissue box not replaced. Other than that this is a pretty good hotel....
