"The staff at the Holiday Inn Express were welcoming. The room was clean and well kept and had everything we needed. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and the hotel is in an excellent location for folks to walk about the city centre. "

"There is a gym, two restaurants (one for dinner, the other for breakfast), secure parking, very good bathroom and good-sized bedroom…staff are multi-lingual and very helpful…only problem we had was with dinner restaurant but next time we’ll eat out…highly recommended."

"We had check-in issues and sat waiting for 30 minutes in the sun, locked out. Online check in did not work. We had to email them once and call twice to finally get our keys. There is no A/C in the rooms and it is on a noisy street. The front of the hotel was covered in giant spiders and mosquitoes attacked me all night. Not my best stay of late. Won’t be back…"

"Didn’t like the check-in process with no staff and available and having to use WhatsApp to communicate. Upon check-in our air conditioning unit was not working during a heat wave. We were told to wait it out. We waited eight hours and it never kicked in. We were offered another room, but it would only be available for a portion of our stay. After several hours we decided to call Expedia to book another hotel. Expedia called the owner of Toploft. The room he previously offered was now available for the duration of our entire trip plus it had functioning AC. At 11 PM we had to pack up our belongings and move across the street to another unit. Extremely inconvenient. If you’re a tourist, this isn’t the property for you because the area is a far distance from main tourist locations. "
