A very nice hotel, with very accommodating staff. Well located within Neuchatel and overlooks the marina. Plenty of open air eateries within 5 minutes walk. The room was excellent, although there are notices advising not to open the windows because of the insects- it was very interesting to see mayflies up close resting on the windows! I was on the 6th floor, the rooftop bar on the 7th floor is lively at the weekend and thus the 6th is not for light sleepers. I didn't eat here during my stay so cannot comment on the restaurant.

Our corner suite had an incredible view on the Lake of Neuchâtel with the Alps in the background, especially the 3 majestic "Bernoises", Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau ! The also have a fantastic rooftop bar (inside and outside with lake view) called "Waves". The hotel is conveniently located, close to the Place Pury and downtown Neuchâtel

Wouldn't stay again for business

Poor internet in rooms! Lost a parcel that was agreed to be shipped to them for me as a guest Hotel staff friendly but not very useful. Used it for business, but couldn't work with the rubbish room wifi. No solution offered, or follow up on my multiple complaints during the week i stayed. Wouldn't stay there again.

Best Western in Europe is leagues ahead of their US properties! The Hotel Beaulac was wonderful: helpful, multilingual staff; location convenient to the university and historic town center; abundant breakfast buffet; fine dining at lunch and dinner. I greatly enjoyed dining outdoors on the restaurant terrace and sharing drinks and light snacks with friends at Waves, the rooftop bar with both indoor and outdoor seating. Rooms are well soundproofed and the AC kept me nice and cool during Neuchâtel's dog days of summer. Strong water pressure in the bathroom, and the water runs hot almost immediately. The Nespresso machine and electric tea kettle in the room were an unexpected bonus. Rooms with a likeside view are the best - mine even had a small balcony with table and chairs, great for watching boats gliding in and out of the port. My minibar apparently wasn't a minifridge (or wasn't working?) so I couldn't chill my water. Apart from this very minor inconvenience I had a terrific stay. Highly recommended.

Breathtaking view of the lake and mountains from our room, the rooftop bar, and the ground floor restaurant. Our room wasn’t completely prepared when we arrived but they quickly remedied and brought us everything we needed and small touches like a welcome biscuit. Excellent customer service!

Leider war der Preis wegen kurzfristiger Buchung viel zu hoch. Die schöne Dachterrasse als Hotelgast der die Aussicht geniessen will leider nicht zugänglich. Abends dort zuviel Trubel um in Ruhe einen Drink zu nehmen. Die Rollen vom Gästebett für die dritte Person haben bei jedem vorbeilaufen ins Schienbein gehauen.

Longer trip and just happened on this hotel. It was amazing. Right on the water and close to the center of Neuchatel. Great rooftop bar, parking and great service. Would go back again for sure.
