Regarding the outside surroundings of the hotel, the roads are under construction in Goreme and this has been hectic for us as well, but the city hall needs to take care of the cleaning and we have also complained about that several times. As for the AC, very few hotels here have AC and you need to check for that kind of amenity before booking. In addition, cave rooms and stone rooms do not really require an AC as the stone material is that of caves, and caves have this natural system of cooling. The cave room has a window on the door which you can keep open for fresh air. Regarding the beds, we are so sorry that you had such an experience, we'll make sure to look into it. But in all cases, please let us know if you're unhappy with something while you are here and maybe we can do something about it on spot.

If by 'it wasn't a cave' you are referring to your room, you need to know that we don't have cave rooms in the Budget Rooms Category, we only have cave rooms in our Boutique Rooms Category, so you need to take this into consideration while booking. If you take a close look to our room descriptions, you'll see that we have Stone Rooms and Cave Room, but not all the rooms are the same. Plus, you had booked a Budget room and you can clearly see the condition of the rooms before booking.

Dear John, it's important to check the photos for the room category while booking. Most probably you'd looked at photos of Boutique rooms and booked a Budget room instead. It's true that economic rooms aren't the most comfortable, but they are always clean and taken care of. What's more, if an upgrade for the room had been possible, we would have definitely done that. If you compare prices of economic and boutique rooms, you most definitely will get an idea of how different they can be. More importantly, we have stone rooms and cave rooms. Our cave rooms are in the category of our Boutique Rooms. If you really want to experience staying in a cave room, you need to book a Boutique Room.As for the balloon ride, we never texted you several times! You said you might be interested in it and we sent you information about it! We want to help make your stay memorable as much as we can and this shows we care about you! You can probably get a balloon ride for any price here, there are hundreds of agencies, but we told you the price that we are offered, with a really nice and well experienced company. All we did when texting you was because we wanted to be as much available to you as possible.The wine that you get as a VIP guest is not something we hand you upon arrival, we normally put it in the room, or sometimes give it to you upstairs on the terrace, because we want you to enjoy the terrace view while having your wine. In all cases, this is not such a big deal, I don't see why you decide to avoid face to face talking about things and let things bottle up in you and then burst out like this. Supposing we had forgotten to put the wine in the room, we definitely didn't do it on purpose. All would have been solved by a little bit of flexibility! Like how flexible we were with your late check in or the payment on the next day. Some things can really be solved by talking. Cave hotels in Goreme don't have AC. Maybe only a few super luxury hotel are equipped with ACs.If you had asked for a fan, we would have given it to you. You should know that the material used in the rooms is cave stone and it has a natural way of keeping cool inside in the heat of Summer.Breakfast is from 08:30 to 10:30 in our hotel and we always tell our guests about it. What is written on the cards in the rooms is for a long time ago.
