Summary:
This is the number one rated vacation rental in New Bern.
New hot tub 4/24
waterfront, home in the historic Riverside District! Located on 1/2 acre on the banks of the Neuse River, this 3050 sqft 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home. Sleeps 12, Unwind with your loved ones on the natural stone patio. Whether you spend your days lounging on the shore or casting your line off our brand new 126' dock. This is what vacations are made of. We host many wedding parties and families due to our central location to wedding venues.

The Space:
Enjoy the beautiful views from the window filled sunroom or wide open kitchen. Everywhere you look is a view of gorgeous gardens with the beautiful water beyond.
5 minute walk to Mayola wedding venue.
Great place for the wedding party or family of the bride and groom.

Guest Access:
3 kayaks available for your use .
If you head north from the house there is a peaceful, scenic estuary around the bend!

The Neighborhood:
Historic Riverside District of New Bern
A 24 minute walk to historic downtown shops, sights and restaurants.
A charming stroll through beautiful historic homes along the way.

Getting Around:
We have parking for 4 cars in the driveway and free street parking. Very quiet street with interesting things to see.
The National cemetery, created after the Civil War, is 5 minute walk.
Old time hardware store around the corner for all your fishing gear needs.

Other Things to Note:
Brand new dock!

We also have a playroom in the garage with lots of games for the kids and adults. It has a rollup door and a great view. (great for rainy days)

BBQ instructions

I hope you are as excited about this BBQ as I am. If you just need to cook some hotdogs and hamburgers, use the gas grill on the right side. But if you are true Grill master,
Please enjoy the smoky flavor of the wood pellet grill on the left.
Please be a responsible griller and clean the grill when you’re finished.
We keep a bin of wood pellets in the play room. If the bin is empty you can purchase more pellets at Lowes or Walmart.
I have attached the instructions. Please read thru to familiarize yourself with the grill.

Fabulous place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The sunrise each day was totally amazing and with that came all kinds of birds, ducks, seagulls, you name it! If you love bird watching you will love it here. Lots of fun things to do if you have kids who get bored easily. Everything was perfect, we would definitely stay here again if only we lived a shorter distance away!

The house was so well equipped, and so well taken care of we’ve really felt at home! Our stay was phenomenal! David has thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable not only for adults but teenagers as well! Could had made use of a little step stool for us short people! Beautiful house and property, right on the Neuse River. Lots of space for six of us, every amenity provided. Loved the coffee bar, hot tub, game room, and ability to spread out and grab a quiet spot for R and R. Extremely convenient to the Maola at Riverside (wedding/event venue)....we were able to walk from the house to the venue.Dog park within easy walking distance as well...and even into town (one mile)...Would definitely book again the next time in town to visit family..Very easy check in/out and communication with David...

Beautiful house, with a gorgeous view! We were a group of 5 in town for Distinctly Bronze East. This house is only about 5 minutes from the convention center, which gave us more time to relax. We stayed in one night to cook dinner and enjoy the hot tub after a long day of practice. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the beds were comfortable. Also, I can't say this enough - Incredible view! We're looking forward to hopefully having this place again next year, as it was absolutely perfect for us.

Wonderful Family Stay (again!)

We like to stay at this lovely property when visiting my parents who live in New Bern. The kids are always excited to return as they love the bunk room, the play space in the garage and the backyard. Family wedding in New Bern

This house was amazing! Comfortable and clean. Beds were comfortable, linens were soft. Enjoyed the patio, dock, kayaks, fire place and fire pit, and hot tub. It was a sweet time with my children celebrating my niece’s wedding in New Bern. The proximity to down town was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

Great family stay

We had twelve people of many ages and this house was a great fit. The river and view are beautiful. It's so nice to be able to kayak right from your backyard. The kitchen is well stocked for all kinds of cooking and everything was in good working order.
