Summer Vacation

The property was beautiful, with a great view of the river. The house very clean and was a perfect fit for our family stay. Communication with the property host was excellent and very prompt. Any questions I had were responded to immediately. Looking forward to returning for another stay in the near future.

Weekend Getaway

Some friends and I stayed through Labor Day and had a blast! Lots of friendly people staying on the property and we had a good time hanging out! Will be back next year for sure!

Love this river house!

We absolutely loved our stay at this river house. Our favorite part was the patio and view. It's situated in the perfect spot and never got too hot (the ceiling fans were a huge plus). The condo had everything we needed: a huge kitchen with a bunch of cookware and a living room that was big enough to comfortably seat our group. I love when vrbos actually have enough seating for the amount of guests. Our only improvements would be to invest in better mattresses and have a few lamps so that the overhead lighting isn't the only option. Would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect location on the river.

This property is amazing. We stay on the river at a different property every year and this one is in our top two. Plenty of utensils, plates, silver and cups. Comfy beds. Nice showers. Great BBQ pit and best of all, the river access is legit. if you wanna sit in the shallow water, hit up the left of the "beach". Want deeper? Hit up the right. Great people watching on Labor day but not too busy to get on my nerves. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a great time at the river. Thank you very much for allowing us to stay.

Can’t wait to go back!

This was my third stay at this property and every trip is even better than the last! Can’t beat the private beach front access to the river and the great people we meet every year staying at other houses. Always a great time!

Labor Day weekend

Great weekend! I’ve stayed here before and brought friends for their first time. We were sitting in the river planning our next trip already! Best place to stay if you’re gonna make a river trip; you will not regret it! 6 stars outta 5!

We had a great time! The river was so close and the tube rental place is literally 100 yards away so that was a big plus for us not having to ever drive anywhere!

Perfect River front get away

We had a party of 8 guests and it accommodated us perfectly! The condo was clean and very nice. The property is right next to the river and is a great place to hang out. It is also very close to places to eat a different places to drop in for tubing! We will be rebooking for next year! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Great location

Great location! On the quieter end of the river. Great view of cliffs. Walked to Cap’s tube/shuttle company. Only thing we didn’t realize til we got there that parking was allowed on the gravel bar beach area.

Perfect Location

This property was perfect for the adults and children. The rock beach area allowed the kids to play while some adults floated the river. We just wish we could have stayed longer!

Graduation trip

Everything was great, clean rooms and neighborhood! Walk to the water was short or you can drive. Only complaint is the bedrooms were a little warm for June/July. But I always bring a fan ☺️😉. Would return again!

Happy Easter

House was amazing. Just wish the weather could have been hotter. Own was amazing words can't describe the relaxation and the view's was awesome. Only down fall was another family was having to much fun loud music till 4 am but other than that I had one of my best birthday with my wife and kids. Will probably go back soon.

Amazing Getaway - Great Views! Lots to do!

This area of the Guadalupe River off of River Road in New Braunfels is a gorgeous area! Cabin #1 at Cliff View Condominiums is riverfront with a perfect view of the cliff and river below. The upper porch is large, covered, and has great seating options. We loved the addition of the porch swing and lights on the lower deck - these features were unique to cabin #1 and we felt so spoiled! We also loved the grassy yard, which is elevated from the river area - the kids could run & play and throw the football. Wildlife was abundant! We loved seeing so many vultures, hawks, songbirds, tons of red cardinals, and fish. The owner provides floats for the rivers (THANK YOU!), which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. The section of river in front of the condos is perfect - it has shallow areas with beautiful rocks where the river runs and rushes, moving very freely - great for wading - as well as calmer, deeper areas where you can have a more serious swim. Fishing is excellent here too - they stock the river with trout year round! As for the condo, the rooms are comfortable and we loved that one room has 2 bunk beds - perfect for families with kids. The sectional in the living area is VERY comfortable - reclining seats with plenty of room for 8 people to sit and watch T.V. The bathrooms and kitchen are very nice - updated fixtures & counters, with good pots & pans and all the things you need. We had an issue with the freezer opening (it was frozen shut) when we first arrived and the owner called us back within 15 minutes, so he's very responsive. There were no rentals before our check-in, so he graciously approved our request to arrive earlier on our check-in day, which we very much appreciated. Can't say enough about this amazing gem of a place! We would love to return!

Great house with a beautiful view

The house is located right on Guadalupe River with easy access to get there! It had a lot of things to be used in the house ! The owner was definitely helpful! Will surely come back again!

Fantastic long weekend stay

Perfect location and lovely finish of the house. We didn’t leave all weekend as there was everything we needed. So many thoughtful touches and supplied with everything you would need or may forget to pack.
