The cabin was so cute, we had a great time. Charity was very helpful and responsive and the home was well stocked. The yard was great for our dogs, they really liked exploring, although worth keeping an eye on them outside if you have an escape artist like we do!! It was very quiet and tranquil and you felt immersed in the mountains which is what we wanted. The leaves were changing and beautiful. We would definitely come back!
We couldn't ask for a better experience. The home, location and property manager were all great. Peaceful but close enough to I-70 for convenient traveling. The house was very clean and well stocked, and our host was quick to reply and very helpful. Looking forward to another trip there in the future.
WOW! The home is absolutely stunning... every detail intentional and the grounds equally amazing. Private decks, walk out patios and manicured grass areas kept us outside as much as in. Thank you for adding to a great time.
Thank you so much for letting us stay at your property! Beautiful views and wildlife with so much privacy. Very clean and the cabin looked amazing. Definitely looking forward to staying here again.
This was our first getaway as a new couple. It was a perfectly cozy cabin, great location and we could bring our dogs. Loved just being able to relax and unwind. Charity was great with her communication!
This cabin is one of the neetest places we’ve ever stayed in Colo. it has the charm of a 1930’s cabin with enough amenities to make it very comfortable.
This is a beautiful property and the house is very well kept. It was close enough to town that we enjoyed going to Glenwood Springs to horseback ride and visit the hot springs. The home is peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend it!
This was my second time staying here! I love all the little areas to kick back, grill read a book and enjoy the animals and birds. The house has everything you need! Step back in time a bit and just enjoy the creek and quiet solitude!
We loved the natural beauty of the house. The pictures we took on property were amazing. Our Familymoon started out perfect with this living space and the sound of the creek just behind the house was the best. Owners had great communication, place was clean, and it was not too far from activities.
We loved this house and in particular the outside spaces! Host was quickly responsive. Would prefer a little more privacy upstairs and a better futon/other bed option but overall a lovely place.
Stayed at the cabin to get away from the fireworks over the 4th (very frightened dog) and this more than met our needs. We loved sitting out on the many decks, enjoying the sound of the creek and seeing wild turkeys and the mini donkeys on the farm. Charity is a fabulous host… very responsive and helpful in answering questions, even those not related to the home itself.
Loved everything about this place. 2 very comfortable master bedrooms both include decks. Rushing creek just feet away. An amazing baby donkey kept us entertained in pasture over creek. ! House is unique and we very
Much admired the craftsmanship!
This property is a bit out of the way and rustic but very charming and we enjoyed our stay. Loved the sound of the stream at night and all of the indoor and outdoor entertaining space. There was even a ping-pong table and foosball in the unfinished basement which we enjoyed. Bring your own paddles and balls as the equipment is on its last legs.
We enjoyed a quiet stay in a natural setting on this property. The home is unique and the stream side lot very peaceful. Respectfully suggest some landscape tidying and cleaning, for instance sweeping the deck and trimming some bushes. Gorgeous place, could benefit from a touch of TLC. Slept well here and was able to prepare tasty meals in the kitchen. Happy we chose this property for our long weekend.
Cabin was true to pictures. What a unique place. I was easy to get to actually from I70, but definitely off the beaten path. Comfortable for all of us to stay.
Had what we needed ot be comfortable. When we had a fire alarm malfunction, we got a quick response to get it repaired.
Would definitely recommend this cabin for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
My husband and I were hoping for a quiet place to refresh, and we found it in this property! It was so lovely to sit on the deck and enjoy nature with the sound of the rushing creek! Communication with Charity was constant and clear! Nearby activities (Rifle Falls and horseback riding in Glenwood Springs) and delicious restaurants (Miner’s Claim in Silt and CO Ranch House in Glenwood Springs) made our long weekend perfect! Highly recommend!
The cabin was gorgeous, unique, perfect. We loved our stay, and would hope to stay here again on any future Glenwood trip. The home was better than the pictures. We had plenty of space, the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc. We couldn’t stop admiring the woodwork and special touches in this cabin during our stay. I could even hear the stream from my bedroom at night. First class!!
We went for a relaxing girls weekend and loved it! We arrived finding deer in the back field! The house is very unique! Definitely built with love! It has plenty of outdoor space to relax and listen to the creek! It has a little reading nook upstairs for cold days that is a great view of property! The chairs however were not that comfortable but still a cute space! I booked again with my husband for summer because it has to be beautiful with everything leafed out! The host was super responsive and told us about the homes history! Great stay!
