「The cottage is gorgeous, clean and comfortable. It's very dog friendly with a fully enclosed garden. It's in a good location, close to local amenities and the wonderful Kirroughtree Forest Park. We'll be back for our third stay next year. It's worth noting the best access road is up in front of the Kirroughtree House Hotel and not straight up through the Conifer Lodges past Auchendoon, as that particular road has large potholes that are difficult to navigate without bumping the underside of your...

「This is an absolutely delightful property in an amazing location, with unbeatable views. It is well furnished and comfortable and has a great garden with abundant furniture and is situated in truly beautiful countryside and a charming village, with two acceptable pubs.There is a lovely circular walk to the equally pretty village of Rockliffe from which you can swim and in the nearby town of Castle Douglas there are very good food shops and a first class restaurants, Mr Pooks.
