“The property is clean and in a great location. It is close to the Yale campus, right next door to a CVS and walking distance from cafes and restaurants. The bed was not very comfortable but the shower was great. There were parties in the building on both nights but it’s a college campus. I had a few issues that I think the host can fix to make this a better experience: 1. Fix the lock box situation. I was not able to get the key from the box because the code given did not work. Thankfully the……

“Easy and quick response from owners. Large living area. Overall a good stay. ”

“Very comfortable stay!”

“Great location to visit Yale. Pictures represent the unit well.”

“Great spot close to everything with a secure entrance to the building. Easy access to the unit Quick responses and good communication from the host. Great unit with lots of amenities! Definitely would stay here again and again!!”

“It was the perfect day and very convenient for our trip for our son’s graduation. Thank you for being so receptive and helpful.”

“Should be more specific about the option to park on the property. I had to park a long ways away and only afterwards once I got into the apartment I saw the pass that I could’ve parked on the premises.”

“good .”

“The Penthouse was a wonderful place - clean, complete with amenities, and very quiet. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in! The apartment's central location to the shops and restaurants on Orange Street/State Street makes it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy all the best that New Haven has to offer by foot. The host was also kind and responsive. I will come back!”

“Very old house, but clean, cozy and nice location for visiting Yale.”

“Booked 16 months in advance for my daughter's graduation, but owner never sent me check in instructions and ghosted me when I followed up. It was a devastating and stressful experience for what should have been a wonderful weekend.”

“The parking situation is very unclear. There is a small sign far from the lot that warns of towing but nothing in the area where you park. No significant warnings in communications with host.”

“Clean and new”

“The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay.”

“The “gym” did not have the weights that were shown in the picture. There are some general repairs that need done on the property such as patching and painting.”

“On both nights of our stay we dealt with loud noises from the apartment above going past 1:30 AM. This was unsettling and prevented us from getting a good night’s sleep. While the pictures online are accurate as regards the interior – it was clean and updated - they don’t illustrate the unfortunate exterior environment. The “off street parking” is a communal dirt area behind two houses with potholes and a very narrow driveway connecting it to the road. If you have a minivan or a larger car, you……

“I was too busy with work but there weee major things that after letting them know no one came to address issue was the very loud dishwasher couldn’t run during day would I trust my zoom and at night could not sleep or even watch TV so loud. At this time I am requesting money back since I had to order food since didn’t want to get dishes dirty not being able to wash. They stated that someone would contact me to discuss.”

“The property is immaculate and the service very responsive.”
