Mountain View Rental cabin #2 is located on 13 acres that joins the George Washington National Forrest. Our newly finished cabin is located in the middle of several popular attractions such as Luray Caverns, Endless Caverns, Cooters, Luray Zoo, Shenandoah River, New Market Battlefield and many more. Our property has many hiking trails around the property, small stocked fishing pond, charcoal grill, firepit.

Great vacation spot

We enjoyed til his house so much. The energy of the people who own this property is all over this beautiful cabin. Comfort, calm, fun are the top 3 words that come to mind. The cabin is spotless, welcoming and filled with comfort. My favorite spot was on the back deck swing where I enjoyed my daily coffee.

Would Absolutely Stay Again!

We had such a relaxing and peaceful stay at this cabin! The setting is beautiful and quiet — perfect for unwinding. The cabin itself was spotless and thoughtfully decorated, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell a lot of care was put into making it cozy and welcoming. Check-out was incredibly easy, which we appreciated. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back again!

Best smelling cabin in VA!

The property was spotless and everything just smelled and felt so clean! The beds were comfortable, sheets were so nice, and the furnishings were lovely! We had everything we needed and then some! It was very secluded down a gravel road, with another cabin just up the hill - but felt like the yard, forest and pond were all ours. Proximity to Luray Caverns was awesome! And do yourself a favor and get the fried chicken at Southern Kitchen in New Market. Really hope to be back again for a bit of nature and relaxation

Long weekend

We took a long weekend to rest, relax, and sight see. The cabin was perfect, clean and comfortable! The town of New Market didn’t offer many places to eat so plan ahead for that. Enjoy this beautiful cabin. We sure did!!

JMU Parents weekend

We loved the cabin it is decorated so nice and the beds are comfortable. We just stayed 2 nights for parents weekend. We loved the proximity to New Market its such a cute town and they had a festival that weekend. We want to come back and enjoy the fire pit!

Cute Cabin Close To Luray Caverns and Shenandoah

Enjoyed the coziness of this cabin. Very nice accommodations and found it to be pretty clean. Property had a fire pit and a charcoal grill. We were able to explore all the local attractions from this base location.
