"We went up to do some hiking and stayed 3 nights. We were really only in our rooms for a few hours each day before going to bed at night. I’m not sure I would’ve wanted to hang out in the room too much, but overall it was a pretty good stay. Don’t expect anything fancy, but I thought the rooms were good for the price. When we got there the bathroom in our room had a weird smell (I think from being cleaned and then having the door closed) but the lady at the desk put us in a new room no problem....

"Property is a good mid-way to Mammoth lake from the Bay area. The property is located right off highway 108 in town with gas stations and dinner. We have a short but pleasant stay. "Boutique hotel. Cute and confortable hotel in little Groveland. Beds and linens were comfy. No frig in rooms but a shared one in common space. The staff are very welcoming and helpful with information and things like ice. There is a restaurant that operates some nights and small bites other nights. There are not many restautants in town otherwise and you may have to drive a short distance. Great coffee, cream, donuts, muffins in the morning. Good value!"

"The only way the host would respond is when I contacted VRBO. The property was so filthy I wouldn't even bring my luggage into it. VRBO did NOTHING for me. I had to reverse the charges with my credit card, which they did after I showed them the awful pictures of the place. I will not consider VRBO again."

"This was a last minute trip on our way to spend Thanksgiving with family. The property is a cozy older home, but clean with comfy beds, and perfect spot near Yosemite. It’s about 30 minutes to the gate and 1 hour from the Valley, but ann easy drive. Our family of 4, including 2 teenagers, loved our stay. We had plenty of room with 2 bedrooms downstairs, a huge loft space, and 2 bathrooms. Groveland is a cute town. Mar Vals was a great grocery store where we were to get everything we needed....

"This place was absolutley immaculate! Bedding was so very comfortable. Nice touches like fresh banannas, orange juice, oat milk, granola, ice cream bars, pop corn, ect....we stayed in Hikers Cabin 1900 ponerosa lane. Beautiful patio, balcony, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom. The cabin was sparkling clean and so comfortable! My husband and i were so very pleased! "
