2 stars not because of the house but the host. House is 5 and host is 1 star. I love the house. It was exactly as described. Clean, private, quiet and close to a lot of things. The only thing I didn't enjoy about the house were the beds. It felt like I was laying on boxsprings, but my fiancé who has back issues loved them, So it depends on preference. As for the host, VERY UNRESPONSIVE. The 1st night we were trying to watch the 1st NFL game of the season & had an issue with the TV. It took the host 3 hours to respond (after the game was off). Our 1st day there anything could have been wrong. The day before checkout in the late afternoon, I requested late checkout because our flight did not leave until 5 PM. No response. After several messages, calls and even a voicemail to personal phone by 8am checkout day I still hadn't received a response. It had been over 16 hours since my first message. 30 minutes before checkout he responded that my request wasn't approved. Which is okay. If he had answered in a reasonable response time I would have still left a 5 star review. At 11AM exactly came a knock on the door. At this point we felt like we just werent wanted in the home. After leaving I sent a message letting the host know how I felt. It has now been over 3 days and he still has not had the professionalism Or courtesy to respond. The recommendation I have is dont do instant booking If it's only certain people they want there. I prefer to spend my where it's appreciated!
