    ACCESSIBILITY & LAYOUT

    The main entrance is accessed via a pedestrian gate, followed by 6 steps up to the front porch with side rails. Once inside, all bedrooms are on the first floor. An interior staircase of approximately 18 steps leads to the second floor great room with living, kitchen, and dining areas. The rooftop terrace is accessed via 4 steps just past the kitchen.

    Guest Access:

    At your doorstep are Greek revival and Victorian mansions, museums, and world-class restaurants. Walk down Magazine Street and explore the miles of galleries, antique stores, and boutiques waiting for you there. Or simply walk the other direction and tour around the CBD where some of New Orleans' best restaurants await. While this charming part of town provides a tranquil refuge from the thrill of the French Quarter, it is truly a destination in itself.



    All guests after booking will receive a list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.



    Getting Around:

    Our convenient location and safe neighborhood make this your ultimate travel destination. We are nestled in the beautiful Lower Garden District while still close to most major sites. We are a 5-10 minute drive to the WWII Museum, a 15 minute walk to the St Charles at Felicity streetcar stop. While there is plenty to see and do here on foot, we are a quick 8-18 minute drive to the Superdome and French Quarter, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions.



    Other Things to Note:

    HOUSE DISCLOSURES

    –We try our best to accommodate early check-ins, but we want to ensure the entirety of the spacious estate is clean and prepared for arrival. We can often accommodate early bag drop for your convenience. Please inquire if this is of interest to your group!

    –The hot tub is open for year-round use, but does have scheduled maintenance. We will do our best to inform guests of pool and hot tub maintenance anytime this needs to occur and keep it as short as possible to maximize your use and enjoyment.



    BUSINESS DISCLAIMERS



    –We have a minimum age requirement for booking this rental. Reservation holder must be 21 years or older.

    –We request that guests complete a guest verification process and sign an additional agreement prior to receiving any check-in information.

    –We require that guests provide a valid credit card and piece of ID for identification purposes only.

    –We do not accept peer-to-peer payment systems or any prepaid debit cards as methods of payment.

    –Pets are not allowed at this property.

    –Packages mailed to the property cannot be received by the host. The host is not responsible for lost or damaged packages and cannot guarantee their arrival.

    –We use Arlo/Hikvision and Noise Aware in our homes. Arlo/Hikvision is a video recording system that has been installed at the front/back doors of the home’s EXTERIOR ONLY, for your safety. NoiseAware is a decibel monitoring system that we use to keep in accordance with local noise regulations.

Very clean and comfortable property! Rooms are well appointed, beds are comfortable, and the hot tub and roof deck make for lovely places to leisure with friends when you feel like hanging around the house. Great location too!There is a rooster a few doors down though, so it might not be for those who are particularly light sleepers. Still, I'd recommend it and we'd definitely stay there again!

Just the right spot. It was a little off the beaten path, but it is an excellent place. Had more than enough space for a group of 8. The hot tub was well maintained and super clean. The 2nd floor balcony/patio was spacious, a great place to hang out. There was a small mishap with the code at check in, but Heirloom responded immediately to fix it. Overall we’d happily stay there again.

The property was nice, however the rooms were small and the layout is weird. There weren't enough face towels (wash clothes) for the number of guest they accommodate. There were only 5 in the condo and it sleeps 8 or 10. Also, I think the manager needs to put a large notification in the description that the parking lot behind the property is NOT for the property. "On Street Parking Only" would suffice. We reached out to the property manager to confirm and their response was "I am glad you asked". We received the response the morning after check-in and if we would have decided to remain parked there overnight we would have been towed. The signage on the parking lot says "private" but there isn't an address and it is not attached to a business and appears to be attached to this property. Without advance notice to your guest, you run the risk of having your guest towed and in my circumstance completely ruining my wedding weekend. MOST IMPORTANTLY, there were a ton of (like 8) frogs inside the unit. And they weren't the tiny ones. When someone was sent out they advised that the doors weren't properly sealed and that is how the frogs got in. They got into my mom's and kids' bed. That was annoying. We didn't use the kitchen, but it was really nice and had plenty of essentials. Check-in was easy. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again and I can't say I would recommend it. A tad overpriced for what you get. Management was very responsive though.

Heirloom management was great and very responsive.The property was just OK. Very small bedrooms with no closets or dressers so had to live out of a suitcase. Also several things were broken or not working well in the house.The neighborhood wasn't the nicest. Several abandoned properties and empty lots and not much around. Magazine street was about a 10 minute walk and the closest place for restaurants/shops. There is also a rooster in the neighborhood who gets things going around 6am.We would definitely check out Heirlooms other properties but wouldn't recommend this one.
