This is an excellent location and we would definitely stay here again. Our host was great with communication. In fact, when we arrived we noticed one of the remotes in a bedroom was missing (previous guest may have taken it). Within one hour of my message to the host, Walmart brought a replacement remote, batteries and also a case of water! I highly recommend this property to anyone coming to the New Orleans/Slidell area

Three Day Getaway

Overall, it was a good place for us while we visited family in Slidell. It was conveniently located for a quick trip to New Orleans, which was wonderful. A couple of suggestions...Would be nice to better utilize the yard - add some shade and seating area, maybe under a pergola? Our dog didn't want to go out - too hot! So I took her on walks instead. Sidewalks are great - as is the neighborhood. We felt safe.Could use better furniture in the master. The master side tables are too small and the lamps didn't work (they're set up for USB but didn't reach the power strip behind the bed (which also didn't work) and there was only one USB plug. The bed and frame do not line up, so the frame sticks out about six inches from the bed - a bit of a hazzard. Also suggest adding a recliner or swivel arm chair for living room. Could possibly make the desk narrower as it probably does't get a lot of use, but a recliner would. We enjoyed our stay!

Family Vacation

We were in LA for a family vacation. (Me and my 2 adult sons). The house is in a great neighborhood for taking walks and is just a short drive to restaurants, stores, etc. We spent time in Mandeville, Slidell and New Orleans and each day, we were thankful to get back to the house to relax and unwind.

Amazing Stay

This was an awesome place to stay while visiting friends. The pictures dont do it justice, as Its even better in person. There was many items left for us like a basket of snacks, waters, sodas and the bathrooms were stocked with toothbrushes, toothpaste, qtips, body wash shampoo. Many items that if you forgot to pack they are there for you!The neighborhood is quiet and family oriented. We went for numerous walks and everyone was super friendly. And its just minutes away from the Highway. Highly recommend staying at this property!

Wonderful house and location

This was the best stocked rental I've ever stayed in. There were even snacks and drinks waiting for us. The host was very flexible and prompt to answer questions. Overall a wonderful experience.

5 star VRBO

I have stayed at some "shady" VRBOs in the past, but this place gave me a new reason to stay at VRBOs instead of a hotel. Plus, instead of price gouging, it was less expensive than a hotel. That is great marketing; then, one can stay longer. Very comfortable, and the extras were welcomed. Thank you for the great visit!

Perfect fir our stay

We stayed in this wonderful home , while visiting our daughter and son in law. The house was clean a comfortable and perfect for our family. Communication with the owner was fast and he was very attentive. We will stay again next time we go to visit.

Family stay Essence festival

Our stay was amazing 👏 .The location and the house 🏠 were great. The house was cozy and felt like home. We traveled with 4 adults and we each enjoyed the spacious house. We certainly would stay at this location again when back in the New Orleans area. The host communication was seamless and efficient.

Superb!

Great communication with property manager! House was as pictured. Very clean! They thought of everything, loved the welcome snacks. Perfect when coming off the road from a long road trip. Best Hosts and Beautiful House!

In our years of VRBO experiences, these hosts take the Best Host award! They were so kind and truly made us feel at home. The house is beautiful, in a very nice neighborhood, and is great if you are a family visiting with children. Large fenced in backyard for privacy. VERY clean with modern amenities and appliances. We will be back and can’t recommend this property and these hosts enough!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We were so grateful to have all the essentials available. Coffee, snacks, toiletries and so much more. Very quiet neighborhood, the sky views from the backyard patio are beautiful! I absolutely would stay again.

Great location

We were in town for a family wedding and traveling with our 10 year old son, our daughter and her boyfriend. Having the kitchen for meal prep was a lifesaver. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the property owner was available for any questions. We have family living in the area, and will likely stay here again if needed and if available 🙂 10/10.

We enjoyed the house the pictures font do justice. The area is nice and quite. The host had snacks available. The home was furnished with everything anybody would need. However i fo believe it should be more then 1 tv, but we was barely there. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute Privacy Fenced Home

The Hosts are good people and were very accommodating! They responded quick and provided what I needed in the kitchen so quick. The house is in a very nice area, I felt super safe, and the moment I stepped into the very clean house & felt like I was home! By far this vrbo home is number one on my list. There were travel toiletries available, snacks, soda/water, & a nicely stocked Keurig coffee pot! The best part besides all this was the fact that the yard was fenced in for my service dogs & ever a pooper scooper to help pick up! I highly recommend this spot

Beautiful home in an inviting and convenient location

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars! Upon arrival, the host accommodated us with an early check in because we had dinner reservations. The home was beautiful and clean in a quiet neighborhood. My son and his friend enjoyed the basketball courts and fishing nearby. The host provided us with little touches like toothbrushes, soaps, and snacks. The location is close enough to New Orleans to drive but far enough away to not be in the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend this host and location!
