"We loved the location of this property as it was the center spot of where our family lives. The yard was nice as we brought our pup with us. Based on the listing that the property was on the lake we were looking forward to him being able to swim, yet were told "NO" by the locals as it is a duck itch water spot. "This 145 year old home is a labour of love.. Cheryl goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible! The Victorian decor is beautiful! The cottage garden is lovely and inviting. There is so much attention to detail creating an enchanting experience. Our accommodation was so clean! And it's just a few minutes from the ferry to Newfoundland. I strongly recommend staying here and we will if we are lucky enough to be in this area again!"
