Amazing hotel!
Amazing boutique hotel that was so quiet, yes quiet in the city that never sleeps! Room was big and comfortable, centrally located and virtual check was really easy. Will definitley be back!

Quiet hotel in a good location
Had a pleasant stay in this conveniently located and quiet hotel. The room was comfortable, although there is no housekeeping service. The former version of the hotel served breakfast. Only coffee and tea are now available. The absence of an elevator is a small problem if you are staying on an upper floor and have a lot of luggage. The absence of staff who are physically present also creates a problem if you encounter any issues. Of most serious concern, was the lack of any place to store luggage if you arrive early or have a flight, train, etc. that leaves considerably after the hotel's 11:00 a.m. checkout.

To be honest... I was shocked how big was my room. I mean I expected something tiny and small bcs NY but this was really amazing. Unfortunately I extended my stays there for 2 nights extra bcs my flight got canceled and everything worked fine. Coffee was also good obly one thing - nobody restocked capsules so I guess when hotels is full this can be a little bit problematic.

Clean n Comfortable perfect for us
Hotel interior was great, perfect for our stay, 10 min walk to Times Square, exterior not so great, dilapidated building next door and the shack of a restaurant from Orus directly out the front may put people off. Our room was the rear building of the 2 and on the 3rd floor and overlooked the small courtyard, not the greatest of views but we only slept here. Virtual front desk and code to get in the room was fine and worked well. Room, hotel and lobby was immaculate clean, very quiet area and close to local bars, shops and restaurants. Small kitchen in lobby was fine to make a coffee etc although cold water tap was just a dribble, could be improved if you wanted to fill your own water bottles etc, I used the tap in the bathroom, water was fine to drink. Shower worked well and was plenty hot, lots of towels but they were very small. Bed was comfy but very springy n bouncy which meant disturbing partner when turning or getting in or out of the bed, it was comfy to sleep on though. I would have liked my own kettle for the room with some paper cups etc. Room had a fridge, iron and ironing board. The fridge was a little noisy. Heating was good if a little too warm for me so I had to open the small window from time to time, this gave access to the fire escape if needed. TV comes with ROKU which I was not familiar with, it does have Disney and Netflix which I signed in with my own account, useful for a bit of unwinding. Overall the Room was clean and very comfortable.

The concept of the property is great. Very efficient but it is registered as a hotel and there was no cleaning service to the room at all during the 3 night stay and nowhere in the data mentioned there woud be no service. The common area always smelled fresh. Outside the it is another story, it was dirty and a lot of garbage

This was a perfect spot to stay while visiting the city- I’m even hesitant to leave a glowing review because I selfishly want to keep it an under the radar gem! Great rooms, nice amenities, fantastic location, and couldn’t have been easier- all at a super affordable price. I’ll definitely be back!

Typical for NYC
Small room which is typical for NYC. Ours backed up to a courtyard which was nice until someone decided to take his meetings there starting early and going all day, and I could hear every word. I did like the area the hotel is located; overall quiet and safe with lots of restaurant options.

Great location. Clean, comfortable room. Used a luggage storage app to store our bags down the street before check-in so not having a front desk wasn't a problem.

Nice place to end date night!
The room was very clean and quiet, and we really felt like we had the whole place to ourselves and didn't even realize there were others there. The room was a little on the smaller side, but it was very clean and comfortable overall. The bed was the perfect size for the two of us, but the pillows felt a little off, and the memory foam bed was something that we needed a bit to get used to. Overall, it was a nice experience, would totally recommend for a romantic evening.

There is no staff, everything is by touch pad. my room was on the second floor. It was a walk up by a very narrow stairwell, I had a heavy bag and am 67 years old. It was treacherous. Street noise was terrible and I had to communicate by text and got no support. I asked for someone to come and help me carry the bag down at 10:55. They said they would get back to me and they did at 1:30!

Super clean and conveniently located for Broadway area. I am long time NYer and Times Square is my least favorite place. This hotel was located on residential street so it did not have the Times Square vibe. For those who like Times Square, it was near enough. Easy to walk to the west side piers and pedestrian river walks.

Odd Check In System, Centrally Located
A bit of an odd check-in as there are no staff on site, so you need to punch in a code to get in. The weird thing is that the code to get into the front door was also the code to my room, so some safety issues there I think. Otherwise, very clean and comfortable spot. Nice little courtyard between the lobbies and rooms — that is a rarity in the city. Free coffee and tea in the lobby. Obviously a great launching point to explore the city and take in shows/concerts at MSG.

I'm surprised by the great reviews. The toilet was running the entire time I was there, there were hairs in the bathroom and fridge, and the bed squeaked with every slight movement. My maintenance request to fix the toilet went ignored. The courtyard was cute but closed from 9 pm - 8 am; I never saw anyone using it. These were basic and uncomfortable accommodations, and I left a night early and stayed elsewhere.

No staff at the property so the check-in process was digitized. For some this may be a perk given the pandemic, however I found it cumbersome to not have people on site. In addition to the rate for the room there were hidden fees like luggage storage and cleaning. You had to go through third parties in order to have the basic amenities offered by other hotels. Moreover in hotels with receptionists you might be afforded the courtesy of a late check out or early check in as they know the customer flow.
