I am a very needy guest, calling the desk for more pillows and blankets and such and not once did they sound annoyed and they practically fulfilled my request before I was done asking for it. This is the perfect hotel, employees and perfect location on billionaires row. Grocery stores and drug store just a 30 second walk. Pizza, Italian., Mediterranean right across the street. Açai bowl just around the corner and the Russian Tea Room just a 2 min walk. THIS is the place to stay.

at check in, the use of the room key to activate the elevator wasn't explained(I had not experienced that type of system.) The staff was very courteous & very helpful with the few questions I had, even helping with transportation to airport at check-out. The room was serviced nicely each day. Paris Bar & Le Jardin Rooftop restaurants were accommodating w/o reservations. Both were pleasant, well kept, well staffed & the fare was well portioned, timely served & delicious. Overall, I would definitely book another stay if I return to New York City!

Food in restaurant on street level was fantastic. Front desk staff and doorman were superb. Right near Carnegie Hall and great shopping and food. The room we stayed in did not have a view and was rather small, but not small by NY standards. We loved our stay.
