This was my second time staying at NU Brooklyn and I came back because the first time was near perfect. While the rooms are still great, clean and comfortable, breakfast is simple but good, and the hotel is pretty conveniently located, our stay wasn't as great this time around.
Not sure if from a pile driver at the construction site across the street or a heavy door or the elevator shaft, but there are some loud thumping/banging noises happening at all hours. It's loud and you can feel the vibration through the walls/floors.
I complained with the front desk twice and they acted like they had no idea (which I doubt is the case, to be honest, but this is just my assumption.)
I was offered to change rooms but wasn't able to since I didn't have much time at the hotel to arrange it. I had a very busy stay and was woken up at 5am after going to bed 2am the night before, so not great!
