We stayed at this hotel as part of a package with flight and accommodation. The hotel is clean, cozy, and nicely designed. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made a great impression. Upon check-in, we received drink vouchers — a lovely bonus.
We arrived at 3 AM due to a flight delay. Although the hotel was informed of our late arrival through the package, we were asked whether we had checked in online (we hadn’t received any notice about this). Thankfully, we were checked in, but we were told our reservation was close to being canceled. Better communication for late arrivals would be helpful.
The hotel doesn’t offer an airport transfer, so we had to take a taxi. When we arrived, the main doors were locked (they close them at 1–3 AM), but someone kindly let us in.
The room was small but clean and comfortable. There are no slippers provided, and the floor is concrete and tile. Though the floor is heated, disposable slippers would be a nice addition.
The hotel is around 50 minutes by public transport from Manhattan and an 11-minute walk from the subway. The area directly in front is clean, but a short walk beyond feels less safe, with a lot of noise and trash. The neighborhood is mostly Spanish-speaking and has an older, urban vibe.
Overall, we enjoyed the hotel itself and the friendly staff. With improved communication and a few extra touches, the experience could be even better.
