Our room had a Queen bed and was rather small(about 12x12) but had a fridge and a safe. Overall OK room just think of it as European sized. One major drawback was the Wall A/C Unit. If you know Manhattan...sirens, horns(and New Yorkers love their horns) can go all night long. The wall A/C unit is like having a 3'x3' hole in the wall with a direct path for sound to enter your room. Have to actually turn the TV up when a larger vehicle goes down the street. When Police, Fire, etc go down.....you will wake up and conversation isn't possible.

you have transitioned from Apple Core Hotels into something international, and the staff won't tell you the identity. how bad is that? and you have mostly eliminated breakfast (not that good to start with, but...) and the little pad memos are fewer in pages, and have no identity at the bottom. just how bad, and objectionable, is this? pretty bad,i would say. don't look for me as booking this anymore. and i will spread the word, you people. and, please do not respond in your usual hotel-ese, when you receive a complaint. you people i am done with.

Room looks much nicer in photos. Is EXTREMELY small and building hallways overall old looking. Our shower was not draining upon arrival. Maintenance has to come and put draino. Not satisfied with my over all stay. Towel wall rack was rocking so I couldn’t have lace my large towel on it out of fear it would fall off the wall! Shower is so small water sprays on floor so easily.

The price of the hotel was good; however, there was a daily resort fee of $24 per day which put the price the same as better hotels, closer to midtown. The resort fee covered Wi-Fi, Breakfast and coffee. The coffee machine was 7-11 style and not that great. The Breakfast was terrible. Frozen waffles, toast and cereal is about all it offered. Next time I will skip the resort fee and stay at Marriott

It was nice. When you get there it kinda looks like an apartment set up but the rooms are very clean. My only annoyance was that the shower had no door and the whole bathroom got wet. I would book again though

The rooms are extremely clean and cozy. They look newly renovated, the bed is comfortable, and I didn’t hear much outside noise. The rooms are definitely on the smaller side but it was perfect for just one person! The shower is a little awkward & it’s not very close to major NYC attractions so I had to take Uber/taxi mostly, also because it was so cold outside. I wish they had a little store in the lobby with snacks & drinks as well. I would recommend staying here since the rooms were extremely clean and cozy but it is definitely a more simple, small hotel!

This property had the luxury of a high end hotel while being just spacious enough. The only downside is that the walls were super thin and you could hear everything happening outside of your door.

Ok Hotel - clean, but not the best stay for me
Arrived early, left my bag & returned to check in at 3pm. Desk asked if I was staying alone, yes. He said the room with the king-sized bed wasn't ready so they were changing my room. "Trust me, it's an upgrade." he said. Upgrade to a queen-sized bed. Didn't want to argue, went to my room. Tv didn't work, called the desk, they said wait 10 minites. 25 minutes later, still didn't work. They sent somebody up & he confirmed the TV didn't work. They moved me to a lower room, still queen-sized bed. Construction building a new building adjacent was loud, but ended Friday evening & was done over the weekend. The place was clean, definitely. But my overall experience was mediocre.

There was construction happening 10 feet under our window. Jackhammering the whole 9...staff tried to charge us to check in early. Never have experienced that at any other hotel I have ever stayed. Rooms were extremely small but nicely renovated.

We having two nights in the hotel. But cleaning service was bad because of room's floor was not cleaned. And the hotel was very noisy at night due to it located at the side of road.

Great price; close to restaurants; subway; Dover market. Breakfast was included I think but front desk stated they may be charging? Had to ask front desk for permission to go to breakfast buffet. Also construction noise started at 730 on weekdays but weekend was quiet.

Stay Away from this Bait-and-Switch Place
The hotel was quite inexpensive and the value was reasonable but they charge a "resort fee" that was 40% of what I paid for the room!! I call this straight bait and switch. When I compare prices of hotels, the "resort fee" is not included (And believe me that place is no resort). If that fee is high, it completely ruins the process. Those practices should be punished by Expedia as it makes comparing hotels impossible. As to the hotel and room. It is a bit ex-centered (but not far from 4,5,6 line). Not much in the neighborhood. Rooms are dark and a bit beat up. The heater was noisy and the windows provide no insulation from the cold. The bed is a very cheap foam mattress type but it worked okay. I would not have stayed here if I had known about the resort fee.
