The views of the Ohio River were beautiful. Lots of steps up to house but the views were worth it! House was clean and neat…gorgeous furniture. Our grandchildren especially loved the games in the library room. We also loved being able to seat the whole family at dining table for meals. Lovely home.
We were overjoyed to have found a place for our last minute trip, but there were a frw things that needed attention.
Didn't realize there were only 2 tv's in entire home. Should have been one in each bedroom as well as living room area. The upstairs was uncomfortably hot especially in one of the bedrooms with the multiple beds. There is no air going to this room. Did not like that multiple people were popping up at the home to perform services. These services should have been taken care of prior to our arrival. Best thing about the house was that it was across from Ohio River and my sons were able to go and fish. One of my guests notated that there was dog hair on her bedding upon our arrival.
The house was perfect for our stay. The yard was fully fenced and a great size for our dog. The kids enjoyed having the games. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was amazing. It’s within walking distance to local restaurants and small shops. Most of the places were under a quarter of a mile. It’s a very quiet neighborhood and seemed very safe. Our kids want to go back. Highly recommend staying here.
Christen was great to respond and was eager to allow an earlier check in to match our schedule. The house was great with a lot of space. Everything was clean and neat. Nice fenced in yard for our pets and awesome view of the nearby river. Great trip!
We traveled with a group of four couples in their 50s. The spacious home worked perfectly with four bedrooms, a large kitchen table, which was great for games, two living rooms with plenty of seating and two full baths. We loved the front porch and watching the beautiful sunset over the Ohio river. Such a quiet pretty little Rivertown with a few shops and restaurants. Our favorite was the walking path right along the river! Only 10 minutes to Evansville Indiana if you are looking for more to do. Would absolutely stay here again! The host left plenty of extras and was a great communicator the entire stay! There are lots of steps as the home sits on a steep hill, but the views are worth it! The landscaped walls around the house are very nice!
The home was tastefully decorated. Our biggest problem was that I'd made 5 tins full of homemade cookies at home and brot them with us and set them on a piece of furniture in the front rm. We were traveling the following day....but the next morning, all the contents were ruined by ants....it appears this had been a problem before...as ant traps were sitting in different areas of the house. We were out of space in the lg garbage can outside and the owners were attentive in making room for us to put our garbage.
Lovely home in a quaint neighborhood with a great view of the Ohio river. Walking distance to dining and shopping including boutiques as well as riverfront trails. The home itself is comfortable. Snacks, coffee and appropriate amenities included. The exterior landscaping is ok but lacks in up keep. I attempted communication with the “owner” or whoever listed the property several times but never received anything but what appeared to be automated correspondence. That was disappointing. Regardless the home was perfect for what we needed and we would not hesitate to stay there again!
