“It was a perfect location , clean and nice little kitchen . Unfortunately the bathroom smelled like smelly armpits, the closet had only one hanger , there wasn’t a can opener or dish rack and there was only one dish towel . ”

“We really liked the room and location. It was clean and felt safe. The individual managing the property responded to our needs and questions in a timely and respectful manner. However we did not like dealing with Vrbo and the fee for having to rebook. We are seniors who sometimes have to change plans due to medical issues. Vrbo makes this difficult with the high fee. It was our first time dealing with Vrbo and we will not use this booking service again. Hopefully there is another way to book……

“My suggestion is leave bottle water in the room. A bottle for each person. The cost warrants complimentary water. The rooms requires sound proofing. Very noisy and NOT due to noisy guests.”

“Difficult getting access. The email they sent went to junk so it took ages to find how to get into the property. The room was much smaller than it looked on the photos. Not much noise insulation in the property so you could hear other residents. Parking we got lucky but it could’ve been difficult. Great location but property very disappointing”

“I never even stayed after fighting my way up a tiny stairwell and then getting into to my room to hear some yelping dogs (atleast 2 if not 3) I wasn’t going to deal with it so in your listing I’d start stating your parking is no better then a smart car maybe and that you’ve got dogs living in the rental which are very very annoying. After stating I wasn’t going to stay there they said ok we understand with 0 offering to refund money or anything. I’d highly suggest finding a new place unless you……

“This place is great - so convenient and comfortable.It had everything we needed - well stocked kitchen, laundry, very comfy couch area, beds were also comfy.It was too cold to use the outdoor area, but that looked like it would be nice in warmer weather. The host was very helpful, and easy to reach. Highly recommend!”

“A family wedding brought us to this area.The Ocean Retreat was everything as advertised. We especially appreciated the host'sresponsiveness to any questions. The murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable and the shower was amazing. We appreciated the cleanliness and loved the goodies!We would stay again!”

“This place is amazing. It’s not an older property that’s been refreshed, they tore it down to the studs and recreated a 50’s motel. It’s all fresh and very clean with modern touches. Beautiful drive in and out. Friendly owners and staff. Absolute gem.”
