“The Redstone Cottage was cozy, spotlessly clean, and nestled into the mountain with a network of trails out the back door. If you’re looking for a serene escape that’s equally apt for a movie night by the fire and a home base for exploring the Pisgah, this is your spot! The view from the front deck alone is worth the price. Joel and Matt went above and beyond to make us feel at home (stocked coffees, a special gift for our pup, and posh toiletries).”

“Location was convenient for skiing Sugar. The home doesn’t have central heating or air so it might be too cold or too hot, depending on the season. They have many blankets for the bed rooms but could use an addition of a space heater in the living area. There are not blackout curtains in the bedrooms and the blinds aren’t enough to block out the street lights so be aware if you’re light sensitive. ”

“My family and I booked this cabin for our snow tubing trip in March, 2026. The cabin is in such a pleasant area. Its close to everything but yet completely tucked away in the mountains. The cabin was clean, and cozy. We enjoyed the fire pit and the outdoor hanging lights which lights up the outdoor area beautifully. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils, and coffee pots. (regular pot and k-cup option) There were plenty of towels and washclothes provided for our trip. My……

“Ms. Pat was so wonderful and even left us a few goodies in the frig! The cabin was beautiful with its display of her husband’s artwork; he is very talented. We loved seeing the animals and a woodpecker even visited. Great little vacation!”
