Nice Beach House

Nice beach house for our family vacation. Great location. It is close to the sand & the grocery store is a block away. The garage accomodated two SUV's & 9 bikes that we brought.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was fantastic to stay in! The location is unbeatable on 31st. Steps to the beach one direction, across from the grocery store the other direction, and many other food and shopping places within a minutes walk. Never had to worry about parking with the deep 4 car garage. The place was ready, clean, and organized with everything we needed. The house provided a lot of beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogey boards. BWR was too easy to work with. Any emails with questions were answered and communicated quickly. I will absolutely come back to this house, or recommend it to family or friends.

This home is amazing! This was our since stay for our yearly family vacation and it was without a doubt great. Close to Knotts Berry Farm and so many beaches. Just over all an amazing property. We will definitely be booking again next year.

Loved the location, property could use a little tlc

Pros: location, double kitchens, garage space is great, management is responsiveCons: poor fitting sheets on the queen bed upstairs, a dirty sock in one of the bunk beds...suggesting sheets didn't get changed?? Ants in the kitchen, water heater went out for two of the bathrooms inconveniently after a day at the beach, dirty dishes in the cupboards upon arrival, plates had been stacked when they were still wet. Dirty utensils in drawers, dishwasher that is confusing to use because some of the lights are broken. Dirty sinks when we arrived. The whole place needs a really good deep clean.

Great location, but a bit of a hassle.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the AB unit, which means we had the upstairs and bottom unit. There is an internal staircase, which makes it more like a regular two-story house. Except that the stairway was locked with a deadbolt and required a key, which we were not provided. Since the office closes shortly after check-in, we could not get Burr White to open the stairway until the next day (nearly half way through our weekend stay). This meant that I needed to walk outside and up the outside stairs, and use the keypad to unlock the door each time I went upstairs where my kids were staying. It made it feel much less like we were all staying together, which was the whole point! Please make sure you check this immediately if you are renting the AB unit!Also, be prepared to make all the beds when you arrive. For the amount of the cleaning fee, I did not expect to have to make beds. Burr White explained that they've determined over time that this is the best way to determine that the linens are clean. Uh...maybe it is the best way for Burr White. But, we couldn't check in until after 4, had a bunch of kids that we needed to feed dinner, couldn't get up the internal stairway and had to make five beds. Friday night was pretty hectic. We made the best of it, but Burr White seemed pretty unphased about it. Like, that's just the way it is. I suppose this is true. But, I can also take my business to Beachview Rentals or one of the other management companies operating in Newport Beach. The location of this house is amazing. We were able to watch the sunset on two nights from the rooftop deck. So beautiful. You're also equidistant from the grocery store and the sand, both of which are about a 30 second walk! So great. I would recommend this place because of the location.

We had a great time. The house was in a great location and the garage size and parking was a big bonus. The roof top was very dirty when we arrived. It could use a good cleaning with the windows up there. Overall we enjoyed the place.

The facilities were roomy and the kitchens well stocked. It was a little disappointing to find a few areas that weren't as clean as I would have liked. Several pieces of furniture had dust on them that should have been dusted. One of the couch's hideabeds wasn't clean from crumbs, etc. The area behind the couch was dusty and dirty with someone's left behind dark sock. Instructions for codes, etc. were clear and easy to follow. Thank you for a pleasant, fun-filled family vacation.

Awesome beach property!

Great location just steps from the beach! Rental was clean and updated beautifully. Our families felt comfortable and had a wonderful time. My only recommendation would be to include beach towels and a beach umbrella for guests to have access to. Traveling it’s difficult to be able to pack these items.

Perfect house for a family with kids

We loved staying at this house. The short walk to the beach was perfect. The house is very accommodating and prefect for a large group. The garage is huge and a huge plus. Love that all the stores are within walking distance. Highly recommend staying here .

Perfect Location!

Just steps from the sand and beach. It was also right by the bike path which was awesome! We loved the huge garage which is really rare here! The property was clean and fit our family perfectly! We would definitely stay here again!

Great vacation getaway
