“We loved Four Fillies! The property was kept up very well and was so beautiful. I loved the sound of the creek. We travelled back and forth from Blacksburg which was a bit of a trek (45 minutes) but was a fairly easy drive. it was so worth it!”

“I was not made aware that the creek was closed due to drought. I was not made aware that there was a fee to fish in that creek even before it was declared closed due to drought. The trout farm was also closed which i was not made aware of. I would not have added a day to my reservation had I known this. The cabin could use a bigger fridge and softer mattresses but otherwise good. Someone should have made us aware of the stream closure before i added a night but they didnt.”

“This was a great secluded cabin to spend the weekend! It was an a short, scenic drive to the AT trailhead to hike to McAfee Knob, which was just beautiful! We even passed some thru hikers on the way back! It’s about 30 minutes to Roanoke where we got dinner and walked around. It’s a cute little town. There’s a great store there called Mast General Store that I got lost in because they have everything! The house itself is clean and was equipped for what we needed. They supplied a keurig coffee……
