The house was spotless when we arrived. Lots of pillows and extra bath towels. The view was amazing! Plus, there is a great 9 hole golf course directly across the highway.

Amazing views

Our stay was great, the views are amazing! I would suggest bringing games and toys, and they need a better house keeper. I had to vacuum and sweep the whole place when we arrived.

Beautiful ocean view

View of the ocean while relaxing in a chair, on the couch or having dinner. Short walk to the beach (needed to cross a little river due to all the rain).

Great views!

My family and I had a great vacation! The beds were very comfortable. We checked in on 6/14 and checked out on 6/21. The only complaint was, the day before check out, a guy showed up at 9 am to repair the fireplace. He clomped around on the roof all day until 4pm. This is something that could have waited one more day.

Great stay, limited kitchen amenities

Loved everything about the stay but the kitchen was lacking a few items that would be helpful, like larger bowls, storage containers, basic seasonings/cooking oil. Also the garbage disposal was broken. The views were spectacular and it was a nice quiet location.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: View was fantastic! Walking Access to the beach was not....especially for older people. You need to drive to Agate Beach a short distance away. The location was great for restaurants and other beaches. House was well equipped for cooking, but could use better lighting in dining room for cards and games. Overall it was a fun vacation and comfortable for all.

Beautiful view but not cleaned or prepared

Beautiful views but the house is a bit dated and it had not been prepared for our stay. Crumbs and toe nail clippings as well as dirty socks on the couch! The table cloth was stuck to the table, dishes in the dishwasher and the beds had not been completely change. There needs to be a better map to the beach - or a note that it is easier to drive to the public entrance less than a mile down the road.

Funky

Property needs updating - carpets worn and curling at ends making them tripping hazards. Kitchen items very worn. All mattresses but king need replacing. Found black mold on cutting boards, toilets and around some window sills. The saving grace is the great view although that was somewhat diminished by the streaks of tree sap down the windows.

Outstanding Ocean View

The photos of the home and view were very accurate. The bed in the guest bedroom was old and not very comfortable. I called about the fireplace not working and had a very timely response in fixing it. However I also complained 3 times that the shower curtains in both bathrooms had mildew on them. They said they would replace them but we stayed 5 nights and they were never replaced. The home overall was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are a family of 6 adults and a one year old. This space was spacious with a great yard that made for gatherings of our larger group (21 in all) GREAT with the fire pit a huge hit, and space to spread out during the two dinners we hosted. An earlier review stated that the kitchen was well appointed - we did not find it that way - no spatulas, no wine glasses, no large pans, few kitchen towels and only 4 pods of dishwasher soap.The house could also use a deep clean and screens on the windows, as the fly situation was intense! That said, we had two maintenance issues that were tended to quickly. Overall, GREAT visit in a quiet, beautiful area of Agate Beach.

Unhappy

Very disappointed in the fact the house had an odor of cooked bacon the entire time of our stay. We killed a large amount of flies and could not open our slider because there was not a screen and a couple of the other screens had holes in them. The walk to the beach was much longer than advertised I would not recommend this house to others.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Me and my family really enjoyed it. The view was amazing to view day or night. This home has a hottub separated from the home but on same property. There's also a firepit with wood cut up. The only complaint I have is that the beach Access is an adventure of its own, to get to it you walk down a hill and expect to get about foot of water to cross and get to the beach. The home was perfect and very private. The bottom portion of home gets rented out as well. We hardly heard anyone downstairs.

Beautiful stay, bookmarked to come back!

We loved our stay here, and were completely enchanted by the view of the beach. The house was overall clean, the only reason it is not a 5 star is because the hot tub is shared between both the upstairs and downstairs units without instructions on how to clean between uses. And it seemed like on of the bathrooms hadn't been thoroughly cleaned since we saw opened shampoo + soap bottles on the ledge when we arrived. Management is super friendly and accommodating, we'll be coming back!
