"Place needs an overhaul and upgrade. Very thin walls hearing everything next door. Plumbing needs to be upgraded as well. Rusty water in the shower"

"The “newly renovated hotel” was a disappointment. ac was broken and the cold water did not work only scalding. So we moved rooms across the world to one that was still open but smelled of cologne like someone had just been in there for a quickly. Staff was rude at bar. They booked the wrong massages at the spa but luckily cut the price. So expensive for the headaches."

"Great stay in cool room and building in EXCELLENT location in town. Only two concerns were 1) the rooftop area should be smoking-friendly(!) we would have used it at night, and 2) TERRIBLE cleaning effort on 2nd day/night with no change of sheets, unmade bedspreads, no trash removal, incomplete towel set, etc. Enjoyed our stay but left note about the cleaning issue."

"This is a beautifully restored historic home. I can't say enough good things about the property and house and staff. We stayed in the Governor's Suite which was very nice and roomy and big roomy bathroom. I must say there are stairs. You must be able to carry your suitcases up the stairs into the house and into your room. Breakfast was very good. Good choices and good coffee. Many things here are within walking distance and felt very safe. I do suggest the trolley tour as you will see things that are a little too far to walk. The cliff walk is just a one minute walk from the house and is beautiful. Staff very attentive."
