Great Stay (and view!) in Newport

This spot, located at the Embarcadero which is a legendary hotel, had a great view and came clean and ready to use. We spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony taking in the view. 5 stars because it was a good valued spot (roughly 200/night) for the space. We would definitely stay here again and hope to! small things: We only had one entrance card and one of the showers wasn't draining quickly enough so some water would buildup. Still a 5 star spot for us!

Excellent location

The property was good. Very comfortable. Great location. My only disappointment was when we wanted to extend our stay I had to go through the site and I was going to have to pay the cleaning & booking fee again, so I didn't book. I went to a hotel for our extended 3 days that we added to our trip.

Wonderful water views and amazing pool! One bedroom is actually an open loft up steep stairs so definitely not recommended for anyone who has bad knees. Clean but very outdated…stained bedroom carpets are kinda gross and the recliners are extremely old….one recliner no longer reclines and is very uncomfortable while swiveling to the left continuously. Reminded me of my great grandma’s house.

View is amazing condo need updating desperately

The main reason for booking this condo was for the private crabbing dock but they don't bother to tell you they close at 11 PM right when the crabbing starts to get good so kind of a joke if the dock was open 24 hours A-day I would definitely stay there again just for the crab and not the room beds were horrible And room was not very clean

The Embarcadero Resort is well known & highly recommended. This rental is very dated & substandard.

Interior paint old and wallpaper very dated. Microwave oven at least 25 years old. Dishwasher door broken and will not close properly, down stairs toilet plugged up and/or would not shut off multiple times in 4 day stay. Ceiling in living room hall has water damage with plaster peeling. The living room window shades are badly torn and unraveled so badly the slats fall out. All bathroom fixtures are original “gold” plated and very much damaged, scratched and corroded. Light fixtures missing on deck. Cobwebs in skylights. TVs allure date smart TVs. Lighting very poor and very dated. This unit I believe is well below VRBO standards. Would not recommend to anyone.

Mostly nice.

First the positive - The view from the deck is wonderful and the location is very convenient. No problems getting in and out and parking was easy. Not too noisy and we were overall comfortable there. Now the areas for improvement - The home is older and there are some things that are worn / run down. The stove isn't great, some kitchen basics are missing, the railings on the deck are a little questionable,the lighting fixtures seem like they're on their last legs, and forget about sleeping on the pull out couch without putting an air mattress on top of it. However, the worst part was the upstairs bathroom. Quite a bit of visible (and smellable) mildew adorn the peeling wallpaper. It was really unappealing. Overall summary is that it's a decent place to stay and we were pretty comfortable and happy there. With a little minor TLC it could be a really serviceable place.

Place is very unkept

Unit is dirty. Furniture is broken and dirty. We went out and got sheets and towels to cover the furniture so we didn’t have to sit on them. Rugs are dirty and stained. Living room rug is curling and a safety hazard. Freezer smelled of fish and we had to clean. The location is great and walking distance to restaurants etc. Deck has a great view. Staff in lobby very helpful. Would stay at the resort again but NOT in this unit.

Yaquina Bay Bridge View

You will be choosing this unit for the view! E225 is waterfront with an unobstructed view of the bay. You want see the harbor but you will see seals and sea lions and eagles and cormorants as well as all the small craft coming and going from the harbor. The beds are comfortable. Even the pull out. The decks are amazing to sit out on and watch all the activity on the bay. The location and the view is what this place is about. The furniture is dated and the wallpaper is peeling in places.

The excellent, breathtaking views, beautiful sunsets. Clean bathrooms, plenty of towels. Plenty of hot water. Washer and dryer in the unit. Nice and quite. Dishwasher and plenty of dishes.
