I was in town for an event at a different property down the road, and chose this Holiday Inn because of the proximity and cost. The room was clean, but the hotel overall looks like it could do with a refresh. The parking area seemed insufficient, and unfortunately someone opened their door into my car hard enough to leave a significant amount of paint on the door (not Holiday Inn's fault, of course). There were also some people that had lawn chairs and were hanging out in the parking lot taking up a spot. They didn't seem to bother anyone, but it was odd.

The property is easily accessible once you figure out the entrance. It is quiet and safe. The exterior is backed to the woods. It is very pretty.

Overall anfine experience. Staff was very good and professional. Room a little dated, bit overall fine. Mattresses were a little firm. Breakfast was ok. The pancake maker was broken and eggs were cool, but a good selection so it was ok. Overallnit was better than average but not great. Id stay againnfor quicknovernight, bit not an extended stay.

The outside of the hotel was dirty, trash can windows, floors, etc. The gentleman who checked us in didn't give eye contact and acted off. Our room air was fine at first, then stunk of bad food. We were told the air vents were the cause because it was likely taking the smell from another room. The smell continued to get worse.amd we had to change rooms. There was still food and trash left from previous guests under the bed (chips and receipts).

From the moment i walked in the door I felt welcome. A bright smiling face was there to greet me and make sure everything was taken care of. Getting to the room was simple and the room itself was clean comfy and cozy. I’ll stay here again for sure!

This hotel was amazing!! Katie gave us excellent service from the time we walked in the door to check in. Breakfast was 100% on point each morning. Overall excellent place to stay. My husband and I will be staying here again when we are back in Virginia
